6. Troubleshooting

6.1. Things to Know Before Use

  • Before connecting your phone to the CarPlay Screen, please check whether the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are occupied by other devices.
  • When connecting your phone to CarPlay, please turn on your phone's Bluetooth and Wi-Fi first.
  • After the connection is successful, Bluetooth will automatically disconnect, and data will mainly be transmitted via Wi-Fi at this time.
  • Try to use Bluetooth to connect to the car audio. Bluetooth transmission is more stable than AUX and FM.
  • This product does not have a camera (unless the optional VGA camera is purchased).
  • Only one phone can be paired at a time.

6.2. Common Issues and Solutions

  • Device not powering on: Ensure the cigarette lighter power cable is securely connected to both the device and the vehicle's power outlet. Check if the vehicle's power outlet is functioning.
  • Intermittent connection/disconnection: Ensure your phone's Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are stable. Move your phone closer to the device. Check for interference from other wireless devices.
  • Poor audio quality: If using FM transmission, try different FM frequencies to find a clearer channel. For Bluetooth, ensure your phone's volume is adequate. Consider using the AUX connection for a more stable audio signal.
  • CarPlay/Android Auto not launching: Verify your phone's operating system meets the minimum requirements (iOS 10+ for CarPlay, Android 11+ for Android Auto). Ensure all permissions are granted during the initial connection process.
  • Screen not responding: Try restarting the device by unplugging and re-plugging the power cable. If the issue persists, perform a factory reset (refer to the settings menu).
