3. Operating (How to Play)
Objective:
Be the first player to move all four of your colored pegs from your START area, around the game track, and into your FINISH zone.
Gameplay:
- Starting the Game: The youngest player goes first. Play proceeds clockwise.
- Taking a Turn: On your turn, press the Pop-O-Matic dice roller to roll the die.
- Moving Pegs:
- To move a peg out of your START area onto the track, you must roll a 6. If you roll a 6, place one of your pegs onto your colored START space on the track. You then get to roll again.
- If you roll a number other than 6, and you have pegs on the track, move one of your pegs forward that many spaces.
- If you roll a number other than 6 and have no pegs on the track, your turn ends.
- Landing on an Opponent: If your peg lands on a space occupied by an opponent's peg, the opponent's peg is sent back to their START area.
- Landing on Your Own Peg: You cannot land on a space already occupied by one of your own pegs. If this happens, you must choose another peg to move, or if no other valid moves are available, your turn ends.
- Entering the FINISH Zone: Once your pegs have completed a full circuit around the board, they can enter your colored FINISH zone. You must roll the exact number needed to move a peg into an empty space in your FINISH zone.
Winning the Game:
The first player to get all four of their pegs into their FINISH zone wins the game!
