The G2 AI Smart Glasses connect to your smartphone via Bluetooth, offering a range of practical functions and services for convenient daily use.

Important: This product is not waterproof. Avoid wearing it in rain, while washing hands, swimming, or taking hot showers.

5. Setup

5.1. Charging Instructions

To charge your smart glasses:

  1. Use the provided magnetic charging cable.
  2. Place the glasses on the magnetic charger, ensuring proper alignment.
  3. Connect the charger to a standard 5V USB power source (e.g., computer USB port or phone charger).
  4. A full charge takes approximately 70 minutes.

5.2. Connecting Smart Glasses to Your Phone

To connect your glasses to your smartphone, you need to download the "CyanGlasses" App:

  1. Download the App:
    • Scan the QR code below using your phone's browser or WeChat. Select your operating system (Android or iOS) on the opened page to download.
    • Alternatively, search for "CyanGlasses" on your device's app store (Google Play for Android, App Store for iOS).
  2. Register: Open the installed app and complete the registration process as prompted.
  3. Connect Device: From the app's Home screen, tap "Connect Device".
  4. Select Device: Select the detected device name "AIMB-G2" from the list.
  5. A "ding-dong" tone from the glasses indicates a successful connection.

5.3. Wearing Detection

The glasses feature wearing detection. Functions may pause when the glasses are removed to conserve battery. This feature can be disabled in the CyanGlasses App settings if desired.

5.4. Ear Tube Wearing Method

For enhanced sound volume and clarity, attach the provided ear tubes to the speaker output on the glasses as indicated by the arrow in the product diagram.

6. Operating Instructions

Familiarize yourself with the buttons and touch control areas on your glasses:

6.1. Right Front Button Functions

  • Power On: Long press for 2 seconds.
  • Power Off: Long press for 5 seconds.
  • Factory Reset: Long press for 10 seconds.
  • Take Photo (Powered On): Single click.
  • Start Video Recording (Powered On): Double click.
  • Stop Video Recording (During Recording): Single click.
  • Answer Incoming Call: Single click.
  • Reject Incoming Call: Long press for 2 seconds.
  • Hang Up Call (During Call): Single click.

6.2. Right Rear Button Functions

  • Activate Voice Assistant (Powered On, Bluetooth Connected): Single click.
  • AI Quick Image Recognition: Double click.
  • Start Audio Recording: Long press (~1 second) until prompt.
  • Stop Audio Recording (During Recording): Single click.
  • Adjust Volume: Swipe forward to increase volume, swipe backward to decrease volume.

6.3. Right Touch Control Area (Music Playback)

  • Play/Pause Music: Double-tap the touch area. Taps must be rapid (within 0.5 seconds) and in roughly the same spot. Double-tap to pause during playback, double-tap again to resume.
  • Skip to Next Track: Long-press the touch area for about 1 second (typically with vibration/audio feedback), then release. Maintain pressure until feedback is received.
  • Skip to Previous Track: Triple-tap the touch area. Three taps must be extremely rapid, faster than a double-tap. If executed during the first few seconds of playback, it restarts the current track; otherwise, it skips to the previous track.

6.4. AI Functions

  • Voice Wake-up: Use the wake-up phrase "Hey Glasses" (in Chinese) to activate the AI assistant.
  • AI Image Recognition: Ask "What's in front of me?" The glasses will automatically take a photo, analyze the object, and provide information.
  • Real-Time Translation: Utilize the AI translator feature for seamless communication across language barriers.

6.5. Photo and Video Management

  • Taking Photos: Press the right front button once.
  • Recording Videos: Double-click the right front button to start, single-click to stop.
  • Recording Audio: Long-press the right rear button (~1 second) to start, single-click to stop.
  • Viewing & Saving: Photos and recordings are stored in the CyanGlasses App album. To save them to your phone, click "Import" within the app. Photos will auto-save to your phone's album. Audio recordings can be accessed in the app's "Audio" section and imported to your phone.

Reminder: Photo and video capture consume significant power. If the battery level falls below 20%, data transmission to your phone may pause. Ensure the CyanGlasses App has all necessary permissions for data transfer.

7. Installing/Replacing Lenses

The Erilles G2 AI Smart Glasses allow for easy lens replacement:

  1. Locate the replacement position (groove entrance) on the frame edge, typically marked with an arrow.
  2. Align the edge of the new lens with this groove.
  3. Gently press the lens downward in the direction indicated by the arrow. It will slide along the groove and smoothly snap into place.
  4. Ensure the lens is fully seated, fits snugly with no gaps, and feels secure.

8. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use the provided cleaning cloth to gently wipe the lenses and frame. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
  • Storage: Store the glasses in a protective case when not in use to prevent scratches and damage.
  • Avoid Water: As the product is not waterproof, keep it away from water and high humidity.
  • Temperature: Avoid exposing the glasses to extreme temperatures (hot or cold) for prolonged periods.

9. Troubleshooting

  • Glasses not powering on: Ensure the glasses are fully charged. If the issue persists, try performing a factory reset (long press right front button for 10 seconds).
  • Cannot connect to phone: Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone and the CyanGlasses App has all necessary permissions. Restart both the glasses and your phone, then try connecting again.
  • Poor audio quality: Ensure the ear tubes are correctly attached. Check the volume settings on both the glasses and your phone.
  • AI features not responding: Verify that the glasses are connected to the app and have an active internet connection (for translation and image recognition). Ensure you are using the correct wake-up phrase.
  • Photos/Videos not saving to phone: Grant the CyanGlasses App storage permissions on your phone. Ensure there is sufficient storage space on your phone.

10. User Tips

  • For optimal performance of AI features like translation and image recognition, ensure your smartphone has a stable internet connection.
  • Regularly check the CyanGlasses App for firmware updates to ensure your glasses have the latest features and improvements.
  • When recording videos or audio for extended periods, monitor the battery level to avoid unexpected interruptions.
