1. Introduction
The TTlock DS3-Wifi and DS2-Bluetooth Wireless Door & Window Sensor is designed to enhance your home security by providing real-time monitoring of door and window statuses. Utilizing an integrated low-power WiFi or Bluetooth module, it instantly sends smartphone alerts for any status changes, ensuring you are always informed about your home's entry points. It supports various door and window types with automatic left/right installation detection and features built-in event storage to track recent activity history. Its energy-efficient design ensures stable, long-term performance.

2. Setup Guide
2.1. Battery Installation
The sensor requires two AAA high-performance alkaline batteries (not included). To install:
- Carefully open the back cover of the main sensor unit.
- Insert two AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the back cover securely.

2.2. Physical Installation
Follow these three simple steps to install your sensor:
- Peel off the protective film from the double-sided adhesive tape located on the back of the main sensor unit and the magnetic strip.
- Attach the main sensor unit to the door or window frame, and the magnetic strip to the moving part of the door or window. Ensure the two parts are aligned and within the specified induction distance (<20mm) when the door/window is closed.
- Turn on the switch on the main sensor unit. The indicator light will flash, signifying it is ready for pairing.

2.3. App Pairing (TTLock App)
To pair your sensor with the TTLock app:
- Download and open the TTLock app on your smartphone.
- Navigate to the 'Door Sensor' section (or similar, depending on app version).
- Select 'Add Door Sensor'.
- The app will prompt you to ensure the sensor's indicator light is flashing. If not, re-insert the batteries to restart the pairing mode.
- The app will detect nearby devices. Select your sensor (e.g., 'DS3_b37b99') from the list.
- For Wi-Fi models (DS3), you will be asked to select your 2.4G Wi-Fi network and enter the password. (Note: 5G Wi-Fi networks are not supported).
- Enter a name for your door sensor (e.g., 'Front Door').
- Confirm the settings. Once successfully added, the app will display a confirmation message.
3. Operating Instructions
3.1. Door/Window Status Monitoring
The sensor continuously monitors the open/closed status of your door or window. When the main sensor unit and the magnetic strip are separated (door/window opens), the sensor detects this change.

3.2. Alarm Functionality
Upon detecting an unauthorized opening (separation of the sensor and magnetic strip), the sensor will:
- Emit an audible and visual alarm (for models with this feature).
- Send an immediate alarm reminder or push notification to your mobile app.

3.3. App Features (TTLock App)
- Real-time Status Query: Check the current open/closed status of your doors and windows at any time through the app.
- Record Query: Access a history of all open and close events, including timestamps, to review activity.

4. Maintenance
4.1. Battery Replacement
The sensor is designed for ultra-long standby and low power consumption. When the battery level is low, the app will typically notify you. To replace batteries:
- Gently slide open the back cover of the main sensor unit.
- Remove the old AAA batteries.
- Insert two new AAA high-performance alkaline batteries, ensuring correct polarity.
- Close the back cover firmly.
4.2. Cleaning
Wipe the sensor and magnetic strip with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these may damage the device.
5. Troubleshooting
5.1. Sensor Not Connecting to App
- Ensure batteries are correctly installed and have sufficient charge.
- Verify that your Wi-Fi network is 2.4G (for DS3-Wifi model). 5G networks are not supported.
- Make sure your smartphone is close to the sensor during the pairing process.
- Restart the sensor by removing and re-inserting the batteries.
- Check if the indicator light on the sensor is flashing during pairing mode.
5.2. No Notifications Received
- Check your phone's notification settings for the TTLock app to ensure notifications are enabled.
- Verify that the sensor is connected to your Wi-Fi network (for DS3-Wifi) or within Bluetooth range (for DS2-Bluetooth) and has a stable connection.
- Ensure the sensor's battery level is not critically low.
5.3. False Alarms or No Detection
- Ensure the main sensor unit and magnetic strip are installed correctly and are within the recommended induction distance (<20mm) when the door/window is closed.
- Check for any obstructions or loose mounting that might affect the alignment of the two sensor parts.
