4. Setup Guide

4.1 Charging the Headset

Before first use, fully charge the headset.

  1. Connect the magnetic charging cable to the charging port on the headset.
  2. Connect the other end of the cable to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
  3. The indicator light will show charging status (refer to LED indicator section for details). A full charge typically takes approximately 2 hours.

4.2 Powering On/Off

  • Power On: Press and hold the Power button for 3 seconds until the indicator light flashes.
  • Power Off: Press and hold the Power button for 5 seconds until the indicator light turns off.

4.3 Bluetooth Pairing

  1. Ensure the headset is powered off.
  2. Press and hold the Power button for approximately 5-7 seconds until the indicator light flashes red and blue alternately, indicating pairing mode.
  3. On your device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  4. Select "X16" from the list of devices.
  5. Once connected, the indicator light will flash blue slowly.

4.4 Transferring Music to Internal Memory

The X16 headset has 32GB of built-in memory for MP3 playback.

  1. Connect the headset to your computer using the magnetic charging/data cable.
  2. The headset will appear as a removable disk drive on your computer.
  3. Drag and drop your desired audio files (e.g., MP3 format) into the headset's storage folder.
  4. Safely eject the headset from your computer before disconnecting the cable.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Wearing the Headset

Place the headset over your ears with the transducers resting on your cheekbones, just in front of your ears. The headband should wrap around the back of your head. The memory titanium alloy allows for flexible adjustment to ensure a secure and comfortable fit.

5.2 Music Playback

  • Play/Pause: Press the Multi-function button once.
  • Next Track: Press and hold the Volume + button.
  • Previous Track: Press and hold the Volume - button.
  • Volume Up: Short press the Volume + button.
  • Volume Down: Short press the Volume - button.

5.3 Switching Modes (Bluetooth/MP3)

The X16 headset supports both Bluetooth streaming and local MP3 playback from its internal 32GB memory. Use the dedicated mode switch button to toggle between these two modes.

5.4 Answering/Ending Calls

  • Answer Call: Press the Multi-function button once when a call comes in.
  • End Call: Press the Multi-function button once during a call.
  • Reject Call: Press and hold the Multi-function button for 2 seconds when a call comes in.

5.5 Using for Swimming

The X16 headset is IPX8 waterproof, making it suitable for underwater use. Ensure the magnetic charging port is clean and dry before and after swimming to maintain its waterproof integrity.

6. Care and Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the headset with a soft, damp cloth. For liquid silicone parts, the material is anti-scratch and oil-resistant, making it easy to clean.
  • Drying: After use in water, ensure the headset, especially the charging contacts, is thoroughly dried before charging or connecting to a computer.
  • Storage: Store the headset in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the liquid silicone and other components.
  • Handle with Care: While the memory titanium alloy is flexible, avoid excessive force or sharp bends that could compromise its structure.

7. Troubleshooting
