3. Setup Guide

3.1 Assembly

1. Place the main feeder unit on a flat, stable surface.
2. Attach the food bowl securely to the designated slot at the front of the feeder.
3. Open the lid at the top of the feeder and fill the food reservoir with dry pet food. Ensure the lid is closed properly to maintain food freshness and prevent tampering.

3.2 Power Connection

The feeder supports dual power supply for reliability:

• Primary Power: Connect the provided EU power adapter to the feeder's power port and plug it into a wall outlet.
• Backup Power: For uninterrupted feeding during power outages, insert appropriate batteries (not included) into the battery compartment at the bottom of the feeder.

3.3 WiFi Connection

The feeder connects to your home network via 2.4G WiFi for remote control and scheduling.

1. Download the companion mobile application (refer to the packaging or product page for app name/QR code).
2. Register or log in to your account.
3. Follow the in-app instructions to add your Pet Intelligent Feeder. Ensure your smartphone is connected to a 2.4G WiFi network during the setup process.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Setting Up Feeding Schedule

Use the mobile application to customize your pet's feeding plan:

• You can schedule between 1 to 10 meals per day.
• Each meal can be dispensed in portions ranging from 1 to 12.
• Set specific times for each meal and the desired portion size.

4.2 Manual Feeding

The app also allows for instant manual feeding. Simply open the app and select the 'Feed' option to dispense a single portion immediately.

4.3 Anti-Sticking Grain Design

The feeder features an internal mechanism designed to prevent food from sticking and ensure smooth dispensing. This helps avoid blockages and ensures your pet receives their meals consistently.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning is essential for hygiene and optimal performance. The feeder features a removable design for easy cleaning.

1. Unplug the feeder from the power outlet and remove any backup batteries.
2. Remove the food bowl and the food reservoir lid.
3. Carefully detach any other removable components as indicated in the app or product diagrams.
4. Wash the removable parts (food bowl, food reservoir, etc.) with mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly.
5. Wipe the main unit with a damp cloth. Do NOT immerse the main unit in water.
6. Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling and refilling with food.

• Feeder not dispensing food:
  • Check if the feeder is properly plugged in or if backup batteries are installed and charged.
  • Ensure the food reservoir is not empty.
  • Verify that the anti-sticking mechanism is clear of debris or excessively large kibble.
  • Check the feeding schedule in the app to confirm it's set correctly.
• WiFi connection issues:
  • Ensure your home WiFi network is 2.4G. The feeder does not support 5G WiFi.
  • Restart your home router and the feeder.
  • Try reconnecting the feeder via the mobile app.
  • Ensure the feeder is within range of your WiFi router.
• App not controlling feeder:
  • Check your phone's internet connection.
  • Ensure the feeder is connected to WiFi (check indicator light on feeder).
