4. Package Contents

5. Safety Information

6. Installation and Initial Setup
6.1 Mounting the Display
The EKIY M11 comes with a quick-disassembly mounting bracket that is 180° rotatable and adjustable. It is designed to fit handlebars with diameters between 24mm and 36mm.
- Attach the bracket securely to your motorcycle's handlebar. Ensure it is tightened to prevent movement during operation.
- Align the display unit with the bracket's buckle design and slide it into place until it clicks securely.
- Adjust the angle of the display for optimal viewing.

6.2 Wiring the Power Supply
The power cable is approximately 2.48 meters long.
- Connect the Red & Yellow wire to your motorcycle's ACC Power (Accessory Power). This ensures the device turns on and off with your motorcycle's ignition.
- Connect the Black wire to the motorcycle's Ground (B-).
- Ensure all connections are secure and insulated to prevent short circuits or damage.

6.3 Power On/Off
The device uses a Type-C power supply. Once correctly wired, the device will power on automatically with the motorcycle's ignition. To remove the screen, simply unplug the Type-C power cord and loosen the snap on the bracket.

7. Operating Instructions
7.1 User Interface Overview
The main screen displays time, date, and quick access icons for CarPlay, Android Auto, TF card, BT Ear, Apps, Bluetooth, and Setup.

7.2 Wireless CarPlay Connection
To use Wireless CarPlay, connect your iPhone to the M11 via Bluetooth:
- On the M11 display, select the 'CarPlay' icon. The screen will prompt you to connect via Bluetooth.
- On your iPhone, go to Settings > Bluetooth and turn Bluetooth on.
- Search for available devices and select the M11 (e.g., "CAR-BT_73F5").
- Confirm the pairing request on both devices.
- Once connected, CarPlay will launch automatically, allowing you to access navigation, music, phone calls, and other compatible apps directly on the M11 display.

7.3 Wireless Android Auto Connection
To use Wireless Android Auto, connect your Android phone to the M11 via Bluetooth:
- Ensure the 'Android Auto' app is installed on your Android phone.
- On the M11 display, select the 'Auto' icon. The screen will prompt you to connect via Bluetooth.
- On your Android phone, go to Settings > Bluetooth and turn Bluetooth on.
- Search for available devices and select the M11 (e.g., "CAR-BT_73F5").
- Confirm the pairing request on both devices.
- Once connected, Android Auto will launch automatically, providing access to navigation, music, phone calls, and other compatible apps.

7.4 Screen Mirroring (Airplay & Autolink)
The M11 supports screen mirroring for both iPhone (Wireless Airplay) and Android phones (Wireless Autolink). This allows you to display your phone's screen directly on the M11 monitor.

7.5 Bluetooth Audio Output
When your smartphone is connected to the M11 via CarPlay or Android Auto, you can connect your Bluetooth headphones to your mobile phone to receive audio output (music, navigation prompts, calls) directly to your headphones.

7.6 Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS - Optional)
If you have purchased the M11 with the optional TPMS sensors, the device can display real-time tire pressure and temperature information. Abnormal data will be immediately transmitted and displayed on the screen.
- Install the TPMS sensors on your motorcycle tires according to their specific instructions.
- On the M11 display, navigate to the 'Apps' section and select the 'TPMS' application.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to pair the sensors with the M11 display.
- Once paired, you will see real-time tire pressure (Psi/Bar) and temperature (°C/°F) readings.

7.7 Settings Menu
Access the 'Setup' icon on the main screen to configure various device settings:
- Basic Setup: Change login password, power on display login interface, light mode (automatic), touch calibration.
- System: Language, Time Setup, Version.
- Display Settings: Adjust brightness, screen saver, background.
- Sound Setup: Adjust audio settings.
8. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the screen and device body. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Storage: When not in use for extended periods, especially in extreme weather, consider detaching the screen and storing it indoors.
- Cable Management: Periodically check all wiring connections for wear, damage, or looseness. Ensure cables are neatly routed and secured.
- Software Updates: Check the manufacturer's website or device settings for any available software updates to ensure optimal performance and new features.
9. Troubleshooting
9.1 Device Not Powering On
- Check the power cable connections (Red & Yellow to ACC, Black to Ground) to ensure they are secure and correctly wired.
- Verify that your motorcycle's ignition is on and providing power to the ACC line.
- Inspect the Type-C cable for any damage.
9.2 Wireless CarPlay/Android Auto Not Connecting
- Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on both your smartphone and the M11 display.
- Make sure your smartphone is discoverable in its Bluetooth settings.
- For Android Auto, confirm that the 'Android Auto' app is installed on your phone.
- Try forgetting the device on your phone's Bluetooth settings and re-pairing.
- Restart both your smartphone and the M11 display.
9.3 Screen Not Visible in Sunlight
- The M11 features up to 800nit brightness and automatic light sensing. Ensure the light sensor is not obstructed.
- Check the display settings to confirm brightness is set to automatic or a high level.
9.4 TPMS Not Displaying Readings
- Ensure the TPMS sensors are correctly installed on your tires.
- Verify that the sensors are paired with the M11 display through the TPMS app.
- Check the battery level of the TPMS sensors.
10. User Tips
- Dual Bluetooth Functionality: The device uses Bluetooth to connect to your phone for CarPlay/Android Auto. Your phone can then connect to a separate Bluetooth headset for audio, allowing for a seamless audio experience while riding.
- Theft Prevention: Utilize the quick disassembly feature by unplugging the Type-C power cord and unlatching the screen from its mount when leaving your motorcycle unattended.
