This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your EKIY M5A 6.25" Motorcycle Wireless CarPlay Android Auto Display. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the device to ensure proper functionality and safety.

2. Setup and Installation
Before beginning installation, ensure your motorcycle's power is OFF. Only power ON after installation is complete.
2.1. General Installation Guidelines
- This device is designed for motorcycles with a 12V negative ground electrical system.
- Always turn off the motorcycle's power before starting installation and turn it back on only after all connections are secure.
- Avoid exposing the device to direct water jets or harsh solvents.
- The device supports TF (MicroSD) cards with capacities ranging from 32GB to 64GB for recording and storage.
2.2. Mounting the Display
The EKIY M5A features a detachable bracket for easy removal and installation.

To remove the screen, loosen the back screws on the bracket and disconnect the power cord. The zinc alloy bracket is adjustable and fits handlebars with diameters between 18mm and 38mm.

2.3. Wiring Connections
Connect the provided wiring harness to your motorcycle's 12V power supply. Ensure all connections are secure and properly insulated.

3. Operating Instructions
The EKIY M5A offers various connectivity and recording features.
3.1. Wireless CarPlay Connection
- Turn on Wi-Fi on your iPhone.
- Enable Bluetooth on your iPhone and search for the Bluetooth device named "carkit_B0C7" (or similar, indicated by "xxxxx_xxxx" in the manual).
- Pair your iPhone with the device and allow synchronization.
- Finally, tap "Use CarPlay" on your iPhone.
- After the connection, wait a few seconds for the CarPlay interface to appear on the display.

3.2. Wireless Android Auto Connection
- Turn on Wi-Fi on your Android phone.
- Enable Bluetooth on your Android phone and search for the Bluetooth device named "carkit_B0C7" (or similar, indicated by "xxxxx_xxxx" in the manual).
- Pair your Android phone with the device and allow synchronization.
- Wait for the connection to establish.
- After the connection, wait a few seconds for the Android Auto interface to appear on the display.

3.3. Wireless AirPlay / Mirror Link
The device supports wireless AirPlay for iOS devices and Autolink for Android devices.
AirPlay (for iOS):
- Connect your iPhone to the vehicle's Wi-Fi network.
- On the EKIY M5A display, enter the screen mirroring option.
- Search for "Carkit" and tap to connect.
Mirror (for Android):
Please follow the specific steps displayed on the navigation screen for Android Mirror Link.

3.4. Dual Lens Driving Recorder (Optional)
If your M5A model includes the optional DVR, it supports dual 1080P cameras for front and rear recording with a maximum viewing angle of 110°.

The DVR model also supports displaying GPS location and speed information, accurately acquiring latitude, longitude, speed, and time.

3.5. Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) (Optional)
If your M5A model includes the optional TPMS, tire pressure and temperature information will be transmitted in real-time via Bluetooth and displayed on the screen. Abnormal data will be highlighted immediately.

3.6. Bluetooth Headset Connection
To use Bluetooth headsets for audio, you must connect your mobile phone to both the EKIY M5A monitor and your Bluetooth headsets.

3.7. User Interface and Settings
The device runs on a Linux OS System and features a high-resolution IPS touch panel for smooth operation. The display offers 800 nits brightness for clear visibility even in direct sunlight.

4. Maintenance
- **Cleaning**: Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the display and exterior. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, water jets, or chemical solvents, as these can damage the device.
- **Storage**: When not in use for extended periods, store the device in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
- **SD Card**: Periodically format the TF card to maintain optimal recording performance and free up space.
5. Troubleshooting
5.1. Connectivity Issues (CarPlay/Android Auto)
If you experience issues connecting your phone to the display:
- On your phone, delete the Bluetooth pairing for the smart screen.
- Restart your phone.
- Restart the EKIY M5A device.
- Attempt to pair and connect again following the steps in Sections 3.1 or 3.2.
- If the connection still fails, restart both your phone and the EKIY M5A device, then try again.
5.2. DVR Recording Issues
If the DVR is not recording or shows a "No SD card!" message:
- Ensure a compatible TF card (32GB-64GB) is properly inserted into the device.
- Check if the TF card is full. If so, transfer important files and format the card via the device's settings.
- If the issue persists, try using a different compatible TF card.
