4. Operation

The PXN Z9 Clamp is designed for ease of use once installed.

4.1. Adjusting Tilt Angle

The Adjustable Bracket Panel features a 4-position tilt adjustment, allowing for a maximum tilt angle of 15°. To adjust, loosen the relevant screws on the side of the bracket, set to your desired angle, and re-tighten the screws firmly.

4.2. Securing the Mount

Always ensure the locking screw assemblies of the clamp units are fully tightened before use to prevent movement and ensure stability during intense gaming sessions. The tool-free design allows for quick and easy adjustments.

5. Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your PXN Z9 Clamp Table Mount, follow these simple maintenance guidelines:

  • Cleaning: Wipe the mount regularly with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and debris. For stubborn marks, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by immediate drying. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Check Fasteners: Periodically check all screws and locking mechanisms to ensure they remain tight. Re-tighten any loose fasteners to maintain stability.
  • Inspect Protective Pads: Ensure the EVA protective pads are intact and securely in place. Replace if they show signs of wear or damage to protect your furniture and maintain grip.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your PXN Z9 Clamp, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

6.1. Mount is unstable or moves during use

  • Check Clamp Tightness: Ensure both locking screw assemblies are fully tightened against the desktop.
  • Desk Thickness: Verify that your desktop thickness is within the compatible range (up to 7 cm).
  • Protective Pads: Ensure the EVA protective pads are correctly positioned and not worn out, as they provide crucial grip.
  • Surface Stability: Make sure the surface you are clamping to is stable and not prone to flexing.

6.2. Racing wheel does not fit the mounting panel

  • Check Compatibility: Refer to the specifications section for a list of compatible racing wheels.
  • Mounting Holes: Ensure you are using the correct mounting holes on the Adjustable Bracket Panel that align with your specific racing wheel model.
  • Correct Screws: Use the mounting screws provided with your racing wheel, as the Z9 Clamp provides the mounting surface, not the wheel-specific fasteners.
