2. Product Compatibility

This product is only compatible with vehicles that originally support wired CarPlay. To check if your car has wired CarPlay:

1. Connect your iPhone to the car's USB port using the original data cable.
2. If the CarPlay icon or a related prompt appears on the car's display, your car supports CarPlay, and this product is compatible.

• Your iPhone must be running iOS 10 or later.
• Your Android phone must run Android 11 or later.
• If you're still unsure whether your car supports wired CarPlay, contact your car dealer for assistance.
• This adapter is suitable for various car brands including Audi, Mercedes-Benz, Chevrolet, Ford, Porsche, Volvo, Volkswagen, Kia, Lexus, Hyundai, Honda, Toyota, Mazda, Land Rover, Jeep, Subaru, etc.
• Not compatible with BMW or TSL vehicles.
• Not compatible with HUAWEI or Xiaomi Redmi phones.

6. Setup

6.1 How to correctly install the product

Insert the product into your car's USB communication port.

If the product experiences frequent reboots, fails to power on, or cannot complete startup caused by insufficient power supply from some car head units, please use the included bypass power cable (Y-cable) to provide extra power.

6.2 How to connect to the network

This product connects to the internet via the car's Wi-Fi or a mobile phone's personal hotspot.

Using an iPhone as an example:

1. On iPhone: Go to: Settings > Personal Hotspot > Allow Others to Join, then toggle the switch ON.
2. On this product: Go to: Settings > Wi-Fi > Internet > Wi-Fi, tap to turn it on, select your phone's hotspot name, enter the password, and complete the connection.

6.3 How to use Wireless CarPlay/Wireless Android Auto

Please confirm whether your car has wired CarPlay turned on.

3-step simple pairing for quick start:

1. Plug the product into the car's USB port.
2. Turn on WiFi and Bluetooth, Pair the "Play2Video-Express-xxxx" (Bluetooth name).
3. Connect to use wireless Android Auto or wireless CarPlay.

7. Operating Instructions

7.1 User Interface

App Card:

• Tap to open app
• Long press to replace app

App Icon:

• Tap to open app
• Long press or tap the "Add" icon to replace, delete, or add apps

Recent Apps / Home / App Center / Back:

These navigation elements allow you to switch between recently used applications, return to the home screen, access the app center, or go back to the previous screen.

7.2 How to stream phone audio (calls & music) to car speakers

For a better experience, we recommend deleting your phone's Bluetooth history with the original car Bluetooth. Then connect your phone to this product's Bluetooth for audio streaming.

1. Open the Bluetooth App on this product and find its Bluetooth name.
2. Search for the displayed name on your phone and connect via Bluetooth.

Bluetooth Music:

Open the Bluetooth App and tap the music icon to play audio.

Bluetooth Calls:

Open the Bluetooth App and tap the dial pad to make calls.

7.3 How to operate the product via Bluetooth remote

1. Set the remote to pairing mode (method may vary by model). For OEM remotes: Press and hold the Back + OK buttons for 5s until the red LED blinks slowly.
2. Pair with the remote: Go to: Settings > More > Connected devices > Pair new device, then select the remote's Bluetooth name.

The Bluetooth remote must be purchased separately. For best compatibility, we recommend using the remote that comes with this product (if included).

7.4 How to use Floating Assistive Touch

To enable Floating Assistive Touch: Go to: Settings > Personalization > Floating Button, then toggle it ON.

7.5 How to change language

1. Go to: Settings > System Settings > Language, then select your preferred language.
2. Drag your preferred language to the first position.

8. Maintenance

8.1 Firmware Update

1. Open the Update App.
2. Check for available updates and tap Download / Update.
3. The device will begin updating.
4. When the update is complete, the system will reboot automatically.

9.1 FAQ

1. No response after installation?

• Check if your car supports wired CarPlay (refer to "Product Compatibility" on page 4).
• If supported, reset the car's system, then connect your iPhone via the original USB cable to activate CarPlay. Reinstall the product afterward.

2. Wireless CarPlay / Android Auto fails to connect?

• Navigate to: Settings > More > Connected devices, then delete the Bluetooth connection record between this product and your phone. Reconnect your phone to the product.
• If unresolved, please refer to "Firmware Update" on page 17 to upgrade the product software to the latest version, then reconnect the device.

3. Wi-Fi connection issues?

Please reset the product and reconnect.

4. Product stops working after normal use?

• Reset the car's system, activate wired CarPlay via USB, then reinstall.
• If unresolved, reset the product and reinstall.

9.2 Report an Issue

If the issue persists after following the troubleshooting steps:

1. Ensure the product is connected to the internet.
2. Go to: Settings > Help & Feedback > Submit Log, enter the relevant details and submit.
3. Submission successful.
4. Take a screenshot of this page and send it to your seller, including vehicle model & year, fault description, and VIN (Vehicle Identification Number).

• The Play2Video Express is supported for YouTube, Netflix, and IPTV Smarters PRO. Note that you cannot download any other apps.
• If your car has a non-touch screen, consider choosing the option with an air mouse for easier navigation.
• For cars made in Japan, if you experience insufficient power supply, contact the seller with your car model. A free bypass power cable (Y-cable) may be provided.
• The product is compatible with Junsun car radios that have wireless CarPlay.
• For Mazda CX9 2020, the product should be compatible if the car supports factory wired CarPlay.
