4. Installation

Proper installation is crucial for optimal performance. If you are unsure about any steps, it is recommended to seek professional assistance.

4.1. Rear View Camera Connection

Follow these steps to connect your rear view camera (optional, not included):

  1. Connect the red cable (labeled ② in the diagram) to the back light "+" terminal.
  2. Connect the black cable (labeled ① in the diagram) to the "GND" (ground) terminal.
  3. The reverse detection cable (brown color, labeled ④ in the diagram) should be connected to the red cable (labeled ③) which extends from the video output cable.

4.2. Steering Wheel Control Setup

The unit supports steering wheel controls (SWC) for convenient operation. The setup process varies depending on whether your unit includes a Canbus box.

4.2.1. With Canbus Box

If your unit includes a Canbus box:

  1. Before setup, ensure the Canbus box and the 8-pin serial cable are correctly connected to the multimedia unit.
  2. Refer to the provided image to set your specific car model within the unit's settings. This typically involves navigating to System settings and selecting the correct vehicle protocol.

4.2.2. Without Canbus Box

If your unit does not include a Canbus box, you will need to manually configure the steering wheel controls:

  1. Access the "Steering wheel keys learn" menu in the unit's settings.
  2. Follow the on-screen instructions: Select a function on the screen, then press and hold the corresponding steering wheel button for 1 second to register it. Repeat for all desired functions.

5.2. CarPlay and Android Auto

5.2.1. Wireless Connection Steps
  1. Initial Connection: For the first connection, enable Bluetooth on your phone and pair it with the car's Bluetooth.
  2. Automatic Interface Jump: After successful pairing, the car radio will automatically switch to the "R Lin-k" (for CarPlay) or "Android Auto APP" (for Android Auto) interface.
  3. Confirmation: Your phone will display a prompt like "use CarPlay with ZLink or AutoLink." Confirm this message. CarPlay or Android Auto will then connect.

Note: Both CarPlay and Android Auto can also be connected via a USB cable for a wired connection.

5.3. FM Radio
