1. Introduction
The VALKYRIE VK99 is a high-performance mechanical keyboard designed for gaming and e-sports enthusiasts. It features a tri-mode connection (Wired, 2.4G Wireless, Bluetooth 5.1), a gasket-mounted structure for enhanced typing feel, hot-swappable switches, and vibrant RGB backlighting. The keyboard also includes a functional metal knob and a TFT color screen for convenient control and customization.

2. Setup
2.1 Unpacking
Carefully remove the keyboard and all accessories from the packaging. Ensure the following items are present:
- VALKYRIE VK99 Mechanical Keyboard
- Type-C Data Cable (1.8M)
- Keycap Puller
- Switch Puller
- Cleaning Brush
- User Manual (this document)
- Warranty Card
- 3 Spare Switches
2.2 Connectivity Modes
The VK99 keyboard supports three connection modes: Wired, 2.4G Wireless, and Bluetooth 5.1. You can switch between modes using the dedicated switch located on the keyboard.

2.2.1 Wired Connection
- Connect the provided Type-C data cable to the keyboard's Type-C port.
- Connect the other end of the cable to an available USB port on your computer.
- Ensure the mode switch on the keyboard is set to 'Wired' or 'USB'.
- The keyboard will be automatically recognized by your system.
2.2.2 2.4G Wireless Connection
- Locate the 2.4G USB receiver (usually stored in a compartment on the keyboard).
- Plug the 2.4G USB receiver into an available USB port on your computer.
- Set the mode switch on the keyboard to '2.4G'.
- The keyboard should connect automatically.
2.2.3 Bluetooth 5.1 Connection
- Set the mode switch on the keyboard to 'BT' (Bluetooth).
- On your computer or device, enable Bluetooth and search for new devices.
- The keyboard should appear as 'VALKYRIE VK99' or similar. Select it to pair.
- The keyboard supports switching between up to three Bluetooth devices. Use the key combination FN + W/E/R to switch between paired Bluetooth devices.
2.3 Charging
The keyboard is powered by an 8000mAh battery. To charge the keyboard:
- Connect the keyboard to a computer's USB port using the provided Type-C cable.
- The rated charging voltage is 5V.
- Important: Do not use fast charging products or adapters, as this may damage the keyboard's battery or internal components.
2.4 System Compatibility
The VALKYRIE VK99 keyboard is compatible with Windows, MacOS, and Linux operating systems.
3. Operating Instructions
3.1 Basic Functions
- Layout: The keyboard features a 98% layout with 83 keys, providing a compact design while retaining essential keys.
- Full Key Anti-Conflict: Supports full key anti-ghosting, ensuring all key presses are registered accurately, even during rapid input.

3.2 Functional Metal Knob and TFT Color Screen
The keyboard is equipped with a multi-functional metal knob and a TFT color screen for enhanced control and customization.

- Mode Switching: Press the metal knob (often in combination with the FN key) to switch between different modes, such as computer audio adjustment or keyboard screen adjustment.
- Audio Adjustment: In audio mode, rotate the knob to adjust volume.
- Screen Adjustment: In screen mode, rotate the knob to navigate menus or adjust settings displayed on the TFT screen.
- RGB Lighting Control: Use the knob and screen to freely switch lighting colors, adjust lighting speed, and brightness settings.
3.3 RGB Backlighting
The keyboard features 16.8 million RGB colors for customizable backlighting. Lighting effects can be adjusted via the keyboard's functional knob and screen, or through dedicated driver software (if available from the manufacturer's website).
3.4 Hot-Swappable Switches
The VK99 supports hot-swappable switches (5-pin support), allowing you to easily change switches without soldering. This enables customization of typing feel and sound.

4. Maintenance
4.1 Cleaning
Regular cleaning helps maintain the keyboard's performance and appearance.
- Use the provided cleaning brush to remove dust and debris from between keycaps.
- For deeper cleaning, use the keycap puller to carefully remove keycaps. Clean the keycaps with a mild cleaning solution and a soft cloth, then allow them to dry completely before reattaching.
- Wipe the keyboard surface with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals.
4.2 General Care
- Avoid Liquids: This product is not waterproof. Strictly prevent any liquids from entering the keyboard, as this can cause short circuits and damage the PCB.
- Temperature Control: Do not place or use the keyboard in environments with excessive temperatures (approximately 45°C or above). High temperatures can lead to product deformation, battery bulging, or internal PCB damage.
- Physical Impact: Avoid dropping, pressing, or bumping the keyboard, as such impacts can cause physical damage.
5. Troubleshooting
5.1 Common Issues and Solutions
- Keyboard not responding:
- Ensure the keyboard is properly connected (wired, 2.4G receiver, or Bluetooth paired).
- Check the battery level and charge the keyboard if necessary.
- Try switching between connectivity modes.
- Restart your computer or device.
- Keys not registering:
- Ensure the switches are properly seated in their sockets.
- Clean any debris from around the affected keys.
- If using hot-swappable switches, try replacing the switch with one of the spare switches provided.
- RGB lighting not working or incorrect:
- Check the keyboard's settings via the TFT screen and metal knob.
- Ensure any dedicated driver software is installed and updated.
- Connectivity issues (2.4G/Bluetooth):
- Ensure the keyboard is within range of the receiver/device.
- Minimize interference from other wireless devices.
- For Bluetooth, try re-pairing the keyboard with your device.
5.2 Important Reminders
Warning:
- The keyboard interface is USB, with a rated charging voltage of 5V. It is recommended to charge the keyboard using a computer's USB port. Do not use other fast charging products, as there is a risk of damage.
- This product is not waterproof. Strictly prohibit liquid from entering during use, otherwise it is easy to cause a short circuit and abnormal PCB function.
- The product should not be placed or used in places with excessive temperature (approximately 45°C or above), otherwise it may cause product deformation, battery bulging, or internal PCB damage.
Note: Product damage caused by human factors such as dropping, pressing, or bumping is not covered by warranty, and the user is responsible for such damages.
