5. Setup
5.1 Power Installation
- Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the feeder.
- Insert 3x AA 1.5V batteries, ensuring correct polarity.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
5.2 Mounting the Feeder
The feeder offers two primary fixation methods: suction cup and lock fixation (clamp).

5.2.1 Using Suction Cups
Ensure the aquarium surface is clean and dry. Press the suction cups firmly against the glass to secure the feeder.
5.2.2 Using the Mounting Clamp
- Attach the mounting clamp to the feeder's base.
- Position the clamp on the edge of your aquarium. The clampable thickness is up to 18mm.
- Tighten the screw on the clamp until the feeder is securely fastened.
5.3 Filling the Food Drum
- Open the top cover of the feeder.
- Fill the independent fresh lock box with your desired fish food. The feeder supports spherical feed with a diameter between 2mm and 10mm.
- Close the top cover securely to maintain food freshness.

6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Manual Feeding
Press the Manual/Save key (Hand icon) to dispense food manually. The feeder supports 6-speed manual feeding, allowing you to control the amount dispensed with each press.
6.2 Setting Current Time
Use the Clock settings (Clock icon) button to adjust the current time displayed on the LCD. Follow the on-screen prompts to set hours and minutes.
6.3 Programming Automatic Feeding
The feeder allows for personalized timed feeding schedules.
- Press the Set buttons (Gear icon) to enter programming mode.
- Use the Timer button (Timer icon) to set desired feeding times.
- Use the Feeding amount icon (Three dots) to adjust the quantity of food for each scheduled feeding.
- Confirm and save your settings using the Manual/Save key (Hand icon).
6.4 Bluetooth App Control (DRF-15 Bluetooth, DRF-20 Bluetooth models only)
For DRF series models, you can connect the feeder to a mobile application for advanced control and scheduling.

7. Maintenance
7.1 Cleaning the Feeder
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and hygiene for your fish. The lid and grain bin are detachable and can be washed directly.

Important: The main unit (containing electronics) is NOT washable. Wipe it with a dry or slightly damp cloth only.
7.2 Food Storage
The independent fresh lock box design helps keep food dry and fresh. Ensure the top cover is always securely closed after refilling.

- Feeder not turning on: Check if batteries are correctly inserted and have sufficient charge. Replace batteries if necessary.
- Food not dispensing: Ensure the food drum is not empty. Check for any clogs in the food outlet. Ensure the feed size is within the recommended 2mm-10mm diameter.
