4. Assembly and Initial Setup

The RCB RK15 Pro Ebike requires some assembly before its first use. Follow these steps carefully.

4.1 Unpacking

  1. Carefully remove the e-bike and all components from the packaging.
  2. Remove all protective packaging materials.
  3. Inspect the e-bike for any visible damage.

4.2 Handlebar Installation

  1. Attach the handlebars to the stem, ensuring they are centered and aligned.
  2. Tighten the stem bolts securely.
  3. Adjust the angle of the brake levers and display for comfortable reach.

4.3 Front Wheel Installation

  1. Insert the front wheel into the fork dropouts.
  2. Ensure the disc brake rotor is correctly seated within the brake caliper.
  3. Secure the wheel using the quick-release skewer or axle nuts, ensuring it is centered and tight.

4.4 Pedal Installation

  1. Identify the left (L) and right (R) pedals.
  2. Thread the right pedal clockwise into the right crank arm.
  3. Thread the left pedal counter-clockwise into the left crank arm.
  4. Tighten both pedals firmly with a wrench.

4.5 Seat Post and Saddle Adjustment

  1. Insert the seat post into the frame's seat tube.
  2. Adjust the saddle height to a comfortable riding position (your feet should touch the ground when seated).
  3. Secure the seat post clamp.

4.6 Battery Installation and Initial Charge

  1. Ensure the e-bike is turned off.
  2. Carefully slide the 36V 15.6Ah removable battery into its housing on the frame.
  3. Secure the battery using the locking mechanism (if applicable).
  4. Connect the charger to the battery charging port, then plug the charger into a power outlet.
  5. Allow the battery to fully charge (approximately 7.5-8 hours) before first use. The charger indicator light will change when charging is complete.

5. Operation

Understanding how to operate your e-bike will ensure a safe and enjoyable riding experience.

5.1 Powering On/Off

  • To power on the e-bike, press and hold the power button on the display unit for a few seconds.
  • To power off, press and hold the power button again until the display turns off.

5.2 Pedal Assist System (PAS)

The RK15 Pro Ebike features a pedal-assist system. The motor provides assistance only when you are pedaling.

  • Use the '+' and '-' buttons on the display to adjust the level of pedal assistance.
  • Higher levels provide more motor assistance, making pedaling easier.
  • The e-bike offers multiple speed modes: 10 Km/h, 20 Km/h, and 32 Km/h, which correspond to different assist levels.

5.4 Braking

The e-bike supports APP connectivity. Refer to the specific APP instructions for pairing and additional features such as ride tracking, settings adjustments, and diagnostics.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance will prolong the life of your e-bike and ensure safe operation.

6.1 Battery Care

  • Charge the battery regularly, even if not in use, to maintain its health.
  • Avoid completely draining the battery.
  • Store the battery in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

6.2 Tire Maintenance

6.4 General Cleaning and Storage

  • Clean the e-bike with a damp cloth. Avoid using high-pressure washers directly on electrical components.
  • Store the e-bike in a dry, secure location when not in use.
  • The e-bike has an IP54 waterproof rating, meaning it is protected from dust and splashing water from any direction. Avoid submerging it or exposing it to heavy rain for extended periods.

7. Troubleshooting
