7. Troubleshooting
| Issue | Possible Cause / Solution |
|---|---|
| Display shows "EER" during battery charging | Reverse connection protection is enabled. Disconnect the battery and reconnect with correct polarity. |
| CHG indicator light flashes continuously | Cables may be disconnected during charging, or the charging function is abnormal. Press the CHG button lightly to turn off the intelligent charging function, press it again to reset, and then reconnect the power cord to continue charging. |
| CHG indicator light flashes (after charging) | This indicates that the battery is fully charged. |
| Display shows "EER" briefly on power-up | The output terminal may still be discharging residual electricity from the last use. This is normal and should clear quickly. |
| No output when OUT button is pressed | Check if OCP is enabled and triggered, or if the current/voltage limits are set too low for the load. Ensure the power supply is properly connected to the mains. |
8. Maintenance
- Keep the power supply clean and dry. Avoid exposure to dust, moisture, and corrosive substances.
- Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit, especially for the Cooling Fan (22), to prevent overheating.
- Do not operate the unit in environments with extreme temperatures or high humidity.
- Do not attempt to disassemble or modify the power supply. Refer all servicing to qualified personnel.
- Always use appropriate test leads with sufficient current capacity for your applications to prevent damage or inaccurate readings.
9. User Tips
- Utilize the coarse and fine encoder knobs for precise voltage and current adjustments. The coarse knob is ideal for setting the integer part, while the fine knob allows for accurate adjustment of the decimal values.
- When using the intelligent battery charging function, always double-check the battery polarity before connecting to avoid triggering the reverse connection protection.
- For projects requiring sustained high current, consider investing in higher-quality test leads than the included ones, as the provided leads are primarily for general use.
- Take advantage of the dual USB-A and USB-C ports for convenient fast charging of your mobile devices or powering small development boards directly from the power supply.
