4. Installation Guide
Before you begin, ensure your system is powered off and unplugged from the wall outlet. Refer to your motherboard manual for specific CPU socket information.
4.1. Prepare the CPU Socket
- Identify your CPU socket type (Intel LGA or AMD AM).
- Attach the appropriate backplate to the rear of your motherboard if required for your socket.
- Install the correct mounting standoffs onto the motherboard around the CPU socket.
4.2. Install the Radiator and Fans
- Determine the optimal mounting location for the 360mm radiator in your PC case (e.g., top, front).
- Secure the radiator to the case using the provided screws. Ensure adequate airflow.
- The fans are pre-installed on the radiator. If not, attach them to the radiator, ensuring the airflow direction is correct for your case's cooling strategy.
4.3. Mount the Pump Head
- Apply a thin, even layer of the included thermal paste onto the center of your CPU's integrated heat spreader (IHS).
- Carefully place the pump head onto the CPU, aligning it with the mounting standoffs.
- Secure the pump head with the appropriate thumb screws or nuts, tightening them in a diagonal pattern until snug. Do not overtighten.

4.4. Connect Cables

- Pump Power: Connect the pump's 4-pin connector to the CPU_FAN or AIO_PUMP header on your motherboard.
- Fan Power: Connect the radiator fans' 4-pin PWM connectors to available fan headers on your motherboard or to the included Mini ARGB LED Controller.
- ARGB Lighting: Connect the 5V-3pin ARGB connectors from the fans and pump to the Mini ARGB LED Controller. Then, connect the controller's 5V-3pin ARGB cable to a compatible ARGB header on your motherboard (if you wish to control lighting via motherboard software) or use the controller's built-in modes. Power the controller via its SATA power connector from your PSU.
- LCD Module: Connect the 7-inch magnetic LCD module to an available USB Type-C port on your motherboard or directly to your GPU (if it has a Type-C output) using the provided Type-C cable.
4.5. Software Installation for LCD Module
For the 7-inch LCD module to function as a secondary monitor (duplicate or extend mode), a software driver is required. Please visit the official XIGMATEK website or the product page to download the latest display software/driver for Windows 10 or 11. Follow the on-screen instructions for installation.

5. Operation
5.1. Initial Power On
After completing the installation and software setup, power on your PC. The fans and pump should start operating, and the ARGB lighting should illuminate. The 7-inch LCD module should display content once the necessary drivers are installed and configured.
5.2. LCD Module Functionality
- Display Modes: The 7-inch LCD module supports display duplication (mirroring your main display) or extension mode (acting as a secondary monitor) for Windows 10 and 11. These settings can be configured through your operating system's display settings.
- Magnetic Removable Design: The LCD module is magnetically attached to the pump head, allowing for easy removal and rotation to achieve your desired viewing angle.
5.3. ARGB Lighting Control
The ARGB lighting for the fans and pump can be controlled in two ways:
- Motherboard Software: If connected to a compatible 5V-3pin ARGB header on your motherboard, you can use your motherboard's RGB software (e.g., ASUS Aura Sync, MSI Mystic Light, Gigabyte RGB Fusion, ASRock Polychrome Sync) to synchronize and customize lighting effects.
- Mini ARGB LED Controller: The included controller provides various pre-set lighting modes and colors. Use the buttons on the controller to cycle through effects, adjust brightness, and change speed.
5.4. Fan and Pump Speed Control
The fan and pump speeds are controlled via PWM (Pulse Width Modulation). You can manage these speeds through your motherboard's BIOS/UEFI settings or dedicated fan control software provided by your motherboard manufacturer. Adjusting these settings can optimize cooling performance and noise levels.
6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance helps ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your liquid cooler.
- Dust Cleaning: Periodically clean the radiator fins and fan blades to prevent dust buildup, which can impede airflow and reduce cooling efficiency. Use compressed air or a soft brush.
- Tube and Connection Inspection: Visually inspect the tubes and connections for any signs of leaks, kinks, or damage. Address any issues promptly.
- Thermal Paste: While not frequently required, if you ever remove the pump head from the CPU, it is recommended to clean off the old thermal paste and apply a fresh layer before reinstallation.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your XIGMATEK Connect Pro 360, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- No Power to Fans/Pump:
- Check all power connections (4-pin pump, 4-pin fans, SATA for ARGB controller) to ensure they are securely plugged into the motherboard and power supply.
- Verify that the CPU_FAN/AIO_PUMP header is enabled in your motherboard's BIOS.
- No ARGB Lighting:
- Ensure the 5V-3pin ARGB connectors are correctly attached to the ARGB controller or motherboard header.
- Confirm the ARGB controller is receiving SATA power.
- If using motherboard software, ensure it is installed and configured correctly.
- LCD Module Not Displaying:
- Check the Type-C cable connection to both the LCD module and your PC/GPU.
- Ensure the display software/driver is correctly installed and updated.
- Verify display settings in Windows (Display Settings) to ensure the secondary monitor is detected and configured for duplication or extension.
- Try a different USB Type-C port.
- Poor Cooling Performance:
- Ensure the pump head is securely mounted to the CPU with adequate thermal paste.
- Check for dust buildup on the radiator and fans, and clean if necessary.
- Verify that fans are spinning at appropriate speeds (check BIOS/software).
- Ensure proper airflow within your PC case.
8. User Tips
Maximize your experience with the Connect Pro 360 with these helpful tips:
- Optimize Fan Curves: Adjust fan curves in your motherboard's BIOS or software to balance cooling performance and noise levels according to your usage (e.g., quiet for browsing, performance for gaming).
- Customize LCD Display: Experiment with different content on the 7-inch LCD screen. It can display system monitoring data, custom images, GIFs, or even act as a small secondary screen for chat applications or media controls.
- ARGB Synchronization: If your motherboard supports ARGB synchronization, connect all ARGB components (fans, pump, other case lighting) to the motherboard's ARGB headers to create a unified lighting theme.
- Cable Management: Take time to manage the cables neatly. This not only improves aesthetics but also enhances airflow within your case, contributing to better cooling.
