4. Operating Instructions

  1. Select Operating Mode: In 'SETUP' mode, choose between 'Photo', 'Video', or 'Photo+Video' based on your monitoring needs.
  2. Activate Monitoring: Switch the camera from 'SETUP' to 'ON' mode. The camera will enter monitoring mode after a short countdown.

5. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Regularly clean the camera lens, PIR sensor, and IR LEDs with a soft, dry cloth to ensure clear images and proper function.
  • Battery Replacement: Replace batteries when the low battery indicator appears on the screen or when performance degrades. Always use fresh, high-quality batteries.
  • SD Card Management: Periodically format your SD card to maintain optimal performance and prevent data corruption. Back up important files before formatting.
  • Weather Protection: Although IP65 rated, avoid submerging the camera in water. Ensure the casing is securely latched to maintain its waterproof seal.

6. Troubleshooting

  • Camera Not Powering On: Check battery orientation and charge level. Ensure the SD card is correctly inserted.
  • No Pictures/Videos Captured: Verify the camera is in 'ON' mode. Check PIR sensitivity settings and ensure the detection area is clear. Ensure the SD card has sufficient space and is not locked.
  • Poor Night Vision: Ensure the IR LEDs are not obstructed. Check battery level, as low power can affect IR performance.
  • False Triggers: Reduce PIR sensitivity. Ensure no branches or tall grass are moving in front of the camera's detection zone. Avoid placing the camera in direct sunlight or near heat sources.
  • Display Issues: If the LCD screen is not functioning correctly, try restarting the camera by removing and reinserting batteries.
