4. Installation and Setup
4.1. Physical Installation
The camera is designed for wall-mounted installation. Ensure the mounting surface is sturdy enough to support the camera's weight (approximately 2.35 kg).
- Choose a Location: Select a location that provides the desired viewing angle and is within range of your WiFi network and a power source.
- Mark Drilling Points: Use the mounting template (if provided) or the camera base to mark the drilling points on the wall.
- Drill Holes: Drill holes at the marked positions and insert the wall plugs.
- Mount the Camera: Secure the camera to the wall using the provided screws.
- Adjust Antenna: Position the WiFi antenna for optimal signal reception.

4.2. Power Connection
Connect the camera to a mains electricity supply using the provided 12V power adapter. Ensure the connection is secure and protected from weather elements using the waterproof kit if necessary.
4.3. Network Connection
The camera supports dual-band WiFi (2.4GHz and 5GHz) and can also be connected via Ethernet cable for a wired connection.
- Download the App: Download the "Ctronics Pro" or "HIP2P" app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android).
- Register/Log In: Create an account or log in to the app.
- Add Camera: Follow the in-app instructions to add your camera. This typically involves scanning a QR code on the camera or manually entering its ID.
- WiFi Configuration: During setup, you will be prompted to connect the camera to your WiFi network. The camera supports automatic identification and connection to both 2.4GHz and 5GHz signals.
- AP Hotspot: The camera also has its own AP hotspot, allowing direct connection to your mobile phone for real-time monitoring even without an existing WiFi network.

5. Operating Your Camera
5.1. Live View and Playback
Access the live feed and recorded footage through the Ctronics Pro or HIP2P app on your mobile device, or the client software on your PC (Windows/Mac) and web browsers (IE, Firefox, Google).
5.2. 30X Optical Zoom and Auto-Focus
Use the zoom controls in the app to optically zoom in and out. The camera features auto-focus to maintain clarity at various zoom levels.

5.3. Night Vision Modes
The camera offers three night vision modes:
- Color Night Vision: Provides full-color images up to 50 meters in low-light conditions.
- IR Night Vision: Provides black and white images up to 150 meters using infrared illumination.
- Intelligent Auto Night Vision: Automatically switches between IR and color night vision. When light is insufficient, IR activates (B&W image). If motion is detected, the camera turns off IR, turns on white light, and switches to color night vision, simultaneously sending an alarm.

5.4. AI Detection and Auto-Tracking
The camera can detect and differentiate between people, vehicles, and pets. When a detected object enters the monitored area, the camera will automatically track its movement.

5.5. Preset Positions and Patrol Lines
You can configure up to 60 preset positions for quick viewing of specific areas. The 30X zoom version also supports auto-cruise along 2 defined patrol lines, returning to the preset position after each cycle.

5.6. Sound and Light Alerts
Upon detecting motion, the camera can activate a siren, custom alarm sounds, and a spotlight to deter potential threats. These features can be enabled or disabled as needed via the app.

- No Network Connection: Verify your WiFi password, router settings, and signal strength. Try moving the camera closer to the router or using a wired Ethernet connection. Ensure the camera is connected to the correct 2.4GHz or 5GHz band if using WiFi.
- Poor Image Quality: Clean the camera lens. Check your network bandwidth. Ensure the camera is set to 4K resolution in the app settings.
- Motion Detection Not Working: Check the motion detection settings in the app. Ensure the detection area is correctly configured and sensitivity is appropriate.
