Setup & Installation
The Intelamp Solar Outdoor Light offers flexible installation options to suit your needs. The solar panel comes with a 5-meter (16.4 ft) cable, allowing you to mount the light and the solar panel in separate optimal locations.
Choosing an Installation Location:
- Solar Panel: Select a location that receives maximum direct sunlight throughout the day for efficient charging. Avoid shaded areas.
- Light Unit: Choose a spot that provides the desired illumination coverage for your area (e.g., garage, pathway, garden). The light unit features a 180° wide-angle, triple-sided LED layout for broad coverage.
- Recommended Installation Height: 10-12 feet for optimal illumination range of approximately 3000 sq ft.
Installation Methods:
The light supports two primary installation methods:
- Wall Mount: Securely attach the light unit and solar panel to a wall using the provided mounting hardware.
- Pole Mount: Attach the light unit and solar panel to a pole.

Steps:
- Mark the desired mounting points for both the solar panel and the light unit.
- Drill pilot holes if necessary and insert wall anchors.
- Securely fasten the mounting brackets for the solar panel and light unit using screws.
- Attach the solar panel and light unit to their respective brackets.
- Connect the solar panel to the light unit using the 5-meter waterproof cable. Ensure a secure connection.
- Adjust the angle of the light unit to achieve the desired illumination direction. The direction of illumination can be freely adjusted by 120°.

Operating Instructions
Your Intelamp Solar Outdoor Light is designed for automatic operation and can be customized using the included remote control.
Initial Activation:
After installation, allow the solar panel to charge the battery for at least 6-8 hours in direct sunlight before first use. The light will automatically turn on at dusk and off at dawn.
Lighting Modes:
The light features 3 intelligent lighting modes, selectable via the remote control:
- Mode 1 (Motion Sensor Full Brightness): The light stays off until motion is detected, then turns on at full brightness (4000 LM) for a set duration (e.g., 15/30/60 seconds) before turning off again.
- Mode 2 (Dim Light + Motion Sensor Full Brightness): The light stays on at a low brightness (dim mode) at night. When motion is detected, it switches to full brightness for a set duration, then returns to dim mode.
- Mode 3 (Constant Full Brightness): The light stays on at full brightness throughout the night until the battery depletes or dawn arrives.
Use the remote control to switch between modes and adjust settings like brightness and duration.
Intelligent Mutual Control and Sensing:
A unique feature of Intelamp solar lights is their ability to communicate. When one Intelamp solar light detects motion and activates, it sends a signal to other Intelamp solar lights within a 66ft (20m) radius, causing them to also illuminate. This creates a continuous path of light as you move.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your solar light.
- Cleaning: Periodically wipe the solar panel with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust, dirt, and debris. A clean panel ensures maximum sunlight absorption and charging efficiency.
- Battery Care: The integrated lithium battery is designed for long life. Avoid prolonged storage in a completely discharged state. If storing the light for an extended period, ensure it is fully charged first.
- Inspection: Regularly check the mounting hardware to ensure the light and solar panel are securely fastened. Inspect cables for any signs of wear or damage.
- Weather Resistance: The IP65 rating ensures protection against dust and water jets. However, during extreme weather conditions like heavy snow or prolonged rain, ensure the solar panel is clear to allow for charging. Intelamp's intelligent discharge technology helps ensure lights stay on even during rainy days.

Troubleshooting
If your Intelamp Solar Outdoor Light is not functioning as expected, please refer to the following common issues and solutions:
- Light does not turn on at night:
- Ensure the solar panel is receiving sufficient direct sunlight during the day (at least 6-8 hours).
- Check if the solar panel is clean and free from obstructions.
- Verify that the light sensor is not being affected by other strong light sources (e.g., streetlights, other outdoor lights) at night.
- Confirm the battery is charged. Allow a full day of charging before retesting.
- Light is dim or runtime is short:
- The solar panel might not be getting enough direct sunlight. Relocate the panel if possible.
- The battery may not be fully charged due to cloudy weather or insufficient sunlight.
- Ensure the solar panel is clean.
- In winter, shorter daylight hours and lower temperatures can reduce charging efficiency and battery performance.
- Motion sensor is not detecting motion:
- Ensure the motion sensors are not obstructed.
- Verify the light is set to a motion-sensing mode (Mode 1 or Mode 2).
- Check the installation height; optimal detection is typically at 10-12 feet.
- Remote control is not working:
- Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the light unit.
- Check the battery in the remote control and replace if necessary.
User Tips
- For best results, install the solar panel facing south (in the Northern Hemisphere) or north (in the Southern Hemisphere) to maximize sun exposure.
- Utilize the intelligent mutual control feature by strategically placing multiple Intelamp lights to create a seamless, illuminated path.
- Consider using Mode 2 (Dim Light + Motion Sensor) for energy efficiency and extended runtime, while still providing bright illumination when needed.
- In areas with frequent cloudy days, ensure the solar panel is kept extra clean to capture as much light as possible.
