4.2 Intercom Pairing Operation
To establish intercom communication between two R5 units:
- Initiate Pairing on Unit 1: Turn on the product. Press the Intercom button and the Phone button at the same time for 3 seconds. The LED will light up blue.
- Initiate Pairing on Unit 2: Enter pairing mode by pressing and holding the Intercom button for 5 seconds. The LED will turn red and blue alternately.
- Connect Units: Once both products are in pairing mode, click the Intercom button of one of the products to search for the other. Upon successful pairing, the two products will simultaneously display a blue light.
- Enter Intercom State: Click the Intercom button on either unit to enter the intercom state. At this point, the LED will show blue. Click the Intercom button again to hang up the intercom.
Hint: If the product has a connection record, you only need to press the Intercom button to enter the intercom state, without repeating the pairing operation.
