3. Setup Guide
3.1 Installing Switches and Keycaps
The Y75PRO features full key hot-swappable sockets, compatible with both 3-pin and 5-pin mechanical switches. This allows for easy customization without soldering.
- **Prepare Switches**: Ensure your chosen mechanical switches are compatible (3-pin or 5-pin).
- **Align Switches**: Carefully align the pins of the switch with the holes on the PCB. Ensure the switch is oriented correctly.
- **Insert Switches**: Gently press the switch into the socket until it clicks into place. Do not force it to avoid bending pins.
- **Install Keycaps**: Once all switches are installed, place your desired keycaps onto the switches.

3.2 Connecting the Keyboard
The Y75PRO supports three connection modes: Wired (USB Type-C), 2.4G Wireless, and Bluetooth.

3.2.1 Wired Mode
- Locate the mode switch on the side of the keyboard and set it to 'Wired' or '2.4G' (depending on the specific switch labeling, often '2.4G' position also covers wired).
- Connect the provided USB Type-C cable to the keyboard's Type-C port and the other end to your computer's USB port.
- The keyboard will be automatically recognized by your operating system.
3.2.2 2.4G Wireless Mode
- Locate the mode switch on the side of the keyboard and set it to '2.4G'.
- Plug the 2.4G USB receiver (usually stored in a compartment on the keyboard) into an available USB port on your computer.
- The keyboard should connect automatically. If not, press and hold the FN key + the 2.4G key (often indicated by a specific keycap legend) to initiate pairing.
3.2.3 Bluetooth Mode
- Locate the mode switch on the side of the keyboard and set it to 'BT'.
- On your computer or device, enable Bluetooth and search for new devices.
- On the keyboard, press and hold FN + Q, W, or E (to select one of three Bluetooth profiles) until the indicator light flashes rapidly, indicating pairing mode.
- Select 'YINDIAO Y75PRO' (or similar name) from your device's Bluetooth list to connect.
- Once connected, the indicator light will stop flashing. You can switch between paired Bluetooth devices by pressing FN + Q, W, or E.
3.3 Operating System Switch (Win/Mac)

4.1 Multifunction Knob

- **Switch Modes**: Press and hold the knob for three seconds to toggle between Light Brightness adjustment mode and Volume Level adjustment mode.

FN+\=to cycle through the 15 built-in light effects, including Spectrum, Breathe, Static, Flowers, Wave, Waterfall, Fountain, Wave 2, Rotation, Waves, Diffusion, Single, Blossom, Starlight, and Wave 1. - **Custom Light Mode**: Press
FN+SHIFTto enter or exit custom light mode (specific customization methods may require software or further key combinations not detailed here).
5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning the Keyboard
To maintain the longevity and appearance of your Y75PRO keyboard:
- Use the provided dust cover when the keyboard is not in use to prevent dust accumulation.
- For general cleaning, use a soft, lint-free cloth.
- To clean between keycaps, use a can of compressed air to blow away debris.
- For deeper cleaning, you can remove keycaps using the keycap removal tool and clean the switches and plate with a soft brush or cloth.
5.2 Replacing Switches and Keycaps
Thanks to the hot-swappable design, switches and keycaps can be easily replaced without special tools (other than the provided removal tool).
- **Remove Keycap**: Use the keycap puller end of the dual-purpose tool to gently pull up the keycap you wish to remove.
- **Remove Switch**: Use the switch puller end of the tool to grasp the top and bottom clips of the switch. Gently rock and pull the switch upwards until it detaches from the PCB.
- **Install New Switch/Keycap**: Follow the instructions in Section 3.1 for installing new switches and keycaps.
6. Troubleshooting
6.1 Keyboard Not Responding
- **Check Connection**: Ensure the USB cable is securely connected in wired mode, the 2.4G receiver is plugged in, or Bluetooth is properly paired.
- **Mode Switch**: Verify the mode switch on the keyboard is set to the correct connection type (Wired, 2.4G, or BT).
- **Battery Level**: If in wireless mode, ensure the keyboard battery is charged. Connect the USB-C cable to charge.
- **Restart Device**: Try restarting your computer or device.
6.2 Backlight Not Working or Incorrect
- **Brightness Adjustment**: Use the multifunction knob (in light brightness mode) to increase brightness.
- **Effect Cycling**: Press
FN+\=to cycle through different lighting effects. - **Custom Mode**: If in custom light mode, ensure your custom settings are correctly applied. Try exiting and re-entering custom mode (
