5. Setup

  1. Charge the Battery: Ensure your Makita 18V Li-ion battery is fully charged using a compatible Makita charger (e.g., DC18RC).
  2. Install the Battery: Slide the charged battery pack into the battery slot on the inflator until it clicks securely into place.
  3. Attach the Hose: Connect the inflator hose to the desired valve adapter.
  4. Select the Correct Adapter: Choose the appropriate valve adapter for the item you intend to inflate (e.g., Schrader valve for car tires, needle adapter for sports balls).
  5. Connect Adapter to Item: Securely attach the valve adapter to the item to be inflated.

6. Operating Instructions

  1. Power On: Press the power button or trigger to activate the inflator. The digital display will light up.
  2. Select Pressure Unit: Press the "Unit switch button" (PSI/BAR/kPa) to cycle through the desired pressure unit.
  3. Set Target Pressure: Use the "Boost button" to increase the target pressure and the "Decompression button" to decrease it. The inflator will automatically stop when the set pressure is reached.
  4. Start Inflation: Squeeze the switch trigger to begin inflating.
  5. Monitor Pressure: The digital display will show the current pressure during inflation.
  6. Stop Inflation: Release the switch trigger to stop inflation manually, or wait for the automatic shut-off once the target pressure is achieved.
  7. Disconnect: Once inflation is complete, disconnect the valve adapter from the item and store the hose and adapters in the storage connector.
  8. Use Flashlight: If working in low light, activate the built-in flashlight as needed.

  • Cleaning: Regularly clean the inflator with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  • Storage: Store the inflator in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight and moisture. Ensure the battery is removed if storing for extended periods.
  • Battery Care: Keep batteries charged and store them in a cool, dry place. Avoid fully discharging Li-ion batteries.
