Setup Instructions
- Inspect the Charger: Before first use, check the charger and cables for any signs of damage. Do not use if damaged.
- Prepare the Battery: Ensure the battery terminals are clean and free of corrosion. If necessary, clean them with a wire brush.
- Connect to Battery:
- Connect the RED (+) positive clamp to the positive battery terminal.
- Connect the BLACK (-) negative clamp to the negative battery terminal.
- For batteries installed in a vehicle, connect the negative clamp to the vehicle chassis away from the battery and fuel line if the negative terminal is grounded. If the positive terminal is grounded, connect the positive clamp to the chassis away from the battery and fuel line.
- Connect to Power: Plug the charger's AC power cord into a standard electrical outlet (AC 110-230V). The charger will power on and display the current battery status.

Operating Instructions
- Automatic Detection: Once connected to the battery and power, the charger will automatically detect the battery voltage (12V or 24V) and display the current status on the screen.
- Select Charging Mode: Press the 'MODE' button on the touch screen to cycle through the available charging modes. Select the mode appropriate for your battery type and application:
- CAR/BOAT: Standard charging for automotive and marine lead-acid batteries.
- LiFePO4: Specific charging profile for Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries.
- AGM/GEL: Optimized charging for AGM and GEL lead-acid batteries.
- MOTORCYCLE: Lower current charging for smaller motorcycle batteries.
- REPAIR: Desulfation mode for deeply discharged or sulfated lead-acid batteries.
- Start Charging: The charger will automatically begin the charging process according to the selected mode. The screen will display real-time information such as voltage, current, temperature, and charging progress.
- Monitor Progress: The charger's intelligent system will automatically adjust the charging stages (9-stage for lead-acid, 5-stage for LiFePO4) to ensure efficient and safe charging.
- Charging Complete: The charger will indicate when the battery is fully charged (usually 'FULL' on the display) and will switch to a maintenance (float) mode to prevent overcharging.
- Disconnecting: First, unplug the charger from the AC power outlet. Then, disconnect the BLACK (-) negative clamp from the battery/chassis, followed by the RED (+) positive clamp.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Keep the charger casing clean and free from dust and debris. Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning. Do not use solvents or abrasive cleaners.
- Cable Inspection: Regularly inspect the input and output cables, as well as the battery clamps, for any signs of damage, fraying, or corrosion. Replace if necessary.
- Storage: Store the charger in a cool, dry place when not in use. Avoid extreme temperatures and direct sunlight.
- Battery Terminals: Ensure battery terminals are clean before connecting the charger to maintain good contact and prevent arcing.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Charger does not turn on | No power from outlet; damaged power cord. | Check power outlet with another device; inspect power cord for damage. |
| Charger not detecting battery | Poor connection to battery terminals; battery voltage too low. | Ensure clamps are securely connected and terminals are clean; battery may be too deeply discharged for detection (try repair mode if applicable). |
| Charging process is slow | Battery is very large; battery is deeply discharged; incorrect mode selected. | This is normal for large or deeply discharged batteries; ensure correct mode is selected (e.g., not motorcycle mode for a car battery). |
| Error message on display | Reverse polarity, short circuit, over-temperature, etc. | Refer to the display for the specific error code/icon. Disconnect, resolve the issue (e.g., correct clamp connection), and reconnect. |
User Tips
- For optimal battery life, use the charger as a maintainer during long periods of vehicle inactivity.
- Always ensure the correct battery type mode is selected to prevent damage to the battery.
- The 'REPAIR' mode is specifically for lead-acid batteries and can help recover some performance from older, sulfated batteries, but it may not work for all damaged batteries.
- The automatic Winter/Summer mode helps optimize charging based on ambient temperature, but always ensure the charger is not exposed to extreme weather conditions directly.
