5.7 Tone Cloning / Tone Capture (ANN Software)

The Pocket AMP utilizes Audio Neural Network (ANN) Modeling Technology to restore and replicate the sound characteristics of various amplifiers and pedals with high accuracy (95% to 99%).

  1. Connect a classic pedal as an example. The left channel is the original sound, and the right channel connects to the classic pedal.
  2. Record audio via recording software. Alternatively, generate audio on ANN software through the sound card.
  3. Use the official ANN software to model and learn this audio for replication, and finally generate an AmXData file. (You can also upload the audio to the official community for training).
  4. AmXData files can be loaded and imported for use on the Pocket AMP.
