5. Installation Instructions

Warning: The installation should be carried out by a trained car mechanic or professional to avoid damage to the unit or your vehicle.

5.1 Pre-Installation Notes

• Installing this monitor may require cutting a permanent hole in your dashboard.
• If there is a storage box on top of the installation area, uninstalling it may eliminate the need for cutting.
• A template sticker is provided to help locate the hole accurately if cutting is necessary.

5.2 Audio Connection

• If your car comes with NO audio AUX input or if the AUX port is not functioning, you may need to order an FM transmitter (XTRONS CA/ITR/FM02 and CA/ITR/FM03 are compatible) to aid in the installation.
• Connect the XTRONS unit to your car's AUX input for audio functionality.
• Ensure the AUX input is enabled in your car's original head unit settings to enjoy the full audio experience.

Note on Audio Cables:

Cable 3 (Audio Output) and Cable 4 (AUX OUT) are connected together by default from the factory. If there is no audio output after installation, please connect Cable 4 directly to the car's AUX input.
