2. Safety Information

Please read and understand all safety instructions before installation and operation. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, serious injury, or death.

  • Installation must be performed by qualified personnel in accordance with local electrical codes.
  • Ensure the inverter is disconnected from all power sources (PV, battery, grid) before performing any maintenance or wiring.
  • Do not open the inverter casing unless explicitly instructed by the manufacturer. There are no user-serviceable parts inside.
  • Avoid contact with live terminals.
  • Ensure proper grounding of the inverter.
  • Do not operate the inverter in wet conditions or near flammable materials.
  • Provide adequate ventilation around the inverter to prevent overheating.

3. Setup

3.1 Physical Installation

  • Mounting: Mount the inverter vertically on a non-flammable surface, ensuring sufficient clearance for ventilation (refer to specifications for dimensions: 280x275x120mm).
  • Environment: Install in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and corrosive substances.
  • Weight: The inverter weighs approximately 17kg. Ensure the mounting surface can support this weight.

3.2 Electrical Connections

All electrical connections must be made by a certified electrician.

  • PV Input: Connect solar panel strings to the designated PV input terminals. Ensure the total open circuit voltage of the PV array does not exceed 500VDC. Observe correct polarity.
  • Battery Connection: Connect the 48V battery bank to the battery terminals. Ensure correct polarity and use appropriately sized cables. The inverter supports Lead Acid, Lithium, and Gel battery types.
  • AC Output: Connect the 3-phase load to the AC output terminals. The inverter provides 380V 3-Phase output.
  • Grid Connection: For grid-tie operation, connect the inverter to the utility grid at the designated grid connection terminals.
  • Grounding: Ensure the inverter chassis is properly grounded.
  • Parallel Operation: This inverter supports parallel operation of up to 6 units for increased power output. Refer to the detailed wiring diagram for parallel connection setup.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Powering On/Off

  • Power On: After all connections are secure, switch on the battery breaker, then the PV array breaker, and finally the AC output/grid breaker. The inverter will initiate its startup sequence.
  • Power Off: To shut down, reverse the power-on sequence: first switch off the AC output/grid breaker, then the PV array breaker, and finally the battery breaker.

4.2 Display Interface

The inverter features a circular display for monitoring system status, including battery charge, power flow, and operational modes. Use the navigation buttons to cycle through different information screens and adjust settings.

4.3 WIFI Remote Monitoring

The inverter is equipped with WIFI for remote monitoring. Follow the instructions provided with the WIFI module to connect it to your local network and register the device with the ANJ monitoring platform. This allows you to monitor system performance, energy production, and consumption from your smartphone or computer.

4.4 Operating Modes

The inverter supports both Hybrid and Off-Grid operating modes. Configuration of these modes is typically done via the display interface or the remote monitoring application. Consult the detailed software manual for specific mode settings and parameters.

5. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your inverter.

  • Cleaning: Periodically clean the exterior of the inverter and ventilation openings to prevent dust buildup. Use a dry, soft cloth. Do not use liquids or abrasive cleaners.
  • Inspection: Annually inspect all electrical connections for tightness and signs of corrosion. Check cables for damage.
  • Ventilation: Ensure that the inverter's cooling fins and vents (visible on the side, see Figure 4) are unobstructed to allow for proper heat dissipation.
  • Battery Maintenance: Follow the manufacturer's guidelines for your specific battery type (Lead Acid, Lithium, or Gel) to ensure proper charging and discharge cycles.
