Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Grinder does not turn on. | Not plugged in; power switch off; safety interlock not engaged. | Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a working outlet. Check if the power button is pressed. Verify the bean hopper is correctly installed and locked, engaging the safety interlock. |
| Grinder runs but no coffee is dispensed. | Bean hopper empty; grinding chute clogged; burrs blocked. | Check if there are beans in the hopper. Unplug the unit, remove the hopper and burrs, and clean the grinding chute and burrs thoroughly with a brush. |
| Inconsistent grind size. | Burrs are dirty or worn; fineness setting too coarse/fine for desired result. | Clean the burrs as per maintenance instructions. Adjust the grind fineness dial to a different setting and test. If burrs are worn, contact support for replacement. |
| Grinder stops unexpectedly. | Overheating; motor overload; safety shut-off activated. | Unplug the grinder and let it cool down for at least 30 minutes. Reduce the amount of beans being ground at once. Ensure the grinding mechanism is not jammed. |
User Tips
- For best results, always use fresh, whole coffee beans.
- Experiment with different grind settings to find the perfect consistency for your brewing method.
- Clean the grinder regularly, especially the burrs and chute, to prevent clogs and maintain grind quality.
- Avoid grinding oily or flavored beans too frequently without thorough cleaning, as this can leave residue and affect subsequent grinds.
