4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Basic Controls

Familiarize yourself with the controller's layout and functions:

  • Hall Rocker: High-precision analog joysticks for smooth and accurate 360-degree movement.
  • ABXY Buttons: Standard action buttons. Refer to the Nintendo Switch connection note for specific mapping on that platform.
  • D-Pad: Directional pad for precise digital input, ideal for fighting games or menu navigation.
  • Shoulder Buttons (L1/R1) & Triggers (L2/R2): Located on the top of the controller for various in-game actions.
  • HOME Button: Central button used for powering on/off the controller and accessing system-level menus.
  • LED Indicators: Multiple LEDs (LED1, LED2, LED3, LED4) provide visual feedback on connection status, player number, and charging status.

4.2. Vibration Function

The controller features a dual vibration motor to enhance your gaming experience with haptic feedback. This function is active on compatible consoles (PS3, PS4, Nintendo Switch) and PC. As noted, vibration is not supported when connected to Android or iOS devices.

4.3. Continuous Firing (Turbo) Function

The T43 controller supports a continuous firing (Turbo) function, allowing you to rapidly repeat a button press by holding it down. To activate or deactivate this feature for specific buttons, please refer to the detailed instructions in the full digital manual or the manufacturer's support documentation. Typically, this involves pressing a 'Turbo' button simultaneously with the desired action button.

4.4. Macro Programming

The editable macro function allows you to record a sequence of button presses and assign it to a single button for quick execution. This is particularly useful for complex combos or repetitive tasks in games.

General Steps for Macro Programming (specific steps may vary; consult full manual):

  1. Enter Programming Mode: Locate the dedicated 'Macro' or 'Set' button (if available) and hold it for a few seconds until an indicator light changes, signaling entry into programming mode.
  2. Record Sequence: Press the desired sequence of buttons in the order you want them to be executed.
  3. Assign Macro: Press the button you wish to assign the recorded macro to (e.g., a back paddle or an unused button).
  4. Exit Programming Mode: Press the 'Macro' or 'Set' button again to save the macro and exit programming mode.

For detailed instructions on macro programming, including how to clear macros, please consult the full digital manual or manufacturer's support resources.

5. Charging the Controller

The controller is equipped with a built-in 550 mAh rechargeable battery. To charge your controller:

  1. Connect the controller to a power source (e.g., gaming console, PC, or a standard USB wall adapter) using the provided USB cable.
  2. The LED indicators on the controller will typically show the charging status. They may flash while charging and become solid when fully charged.
  3. A full charge usually takes approximately 2-3 hours.
  4. Once fully charged, the controller provides approximately 6-8 hours of continuous usage time.

6. Maintenance and Care

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your T43 controller, please follow these maintenance guidelines:

  • Keep Dry: Protect the controller from water, moisture, and excessive humidity. Avoid using it in damp environments.
  • Temperature: Do not expose the controller to extreme temperatures (hot or cold) or direct sunlight for prolonged periods.
  • Cleaning: Clean the controller regularly with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals, solvents, or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the surface and internal components.
  • Storage: Store the controller in a clean, dry, and safe place when not in use to prevent accidental damage.
  • Avoid Disassembly: Do not attempt to disassemble, modify, or repair the controller yourself. This can void the warranty and may cause further damage.
  • Handle with Care: Avoid dropping the controller or subjecting it to strong impacts.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your T43 controller, please refer to the following troubleshooting guide:

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Controller does not turn on. Low battery or no charge. Charge the controller for 2-3 hours using a compatible USB cable and power source.
Unable to connect via Bluetooth. Incorrect pairing mode, device Bluetooth off, or wireless interference. Ensure you are using the correct key combination for your desired platform (e.g., A+HOME for Android V3). Check that your device's Bluetooth is enabled and discoverable. Move closer to the device and away from potential sources of interference.
Buttons are not responding correctly on Nintendo Switch. XBOX button layout mapping difference. Remember the button mapping for Nintendo Switch: Controller A=Switch B, Controller B=Switch A, Controller Y=Switch X, Controller X=Switch Y.
Vibration not working on mobile (Android/iOS). Mobile platforms do not support the vibration function of this controller. This is expected behavior. Vibration is only supported on consoles (PS3, PS4, N-S) and PC.
Controller disconnects frequently. Low battery, too far from the connected device, or wireless interference. Charge the controller fully. Ensure you are within the wireless connection distance (<10 meters). Reduce wireless interference by moving away from other electronic devices.
2.4G receiver not working. Receiver not properly inserted, driver issue, or interference. Ensure the 2.4G receiver is fully inserted into a USB port. Try a different USB port. Check device manager for driver issues on PC.

8. User Tips

  • Full Charge for Best Performance: Always ensure your controller is fully charged before starting long gaming sessions to avoid interruptions.
  • Platform Switching: When switching between different gaming platforms, always perform the correct pairing procedure (e.g., A+HOME for Android, R2+HOME for N-S) to ensure a stable connection.
  • Macro Customization: Take advantage of the macro programming feature to create custom button sequences for your favorite games, which can significantly enhance your gameplay efficiency.
  • Wired for Stability: If you experience any wireless input lag or disconnections, especially during competitive gaming on PC, consider using the USB wired connection for maximum stability.
  • Check Game Compatibility: Some games, particularly older titles or those not designed for controllers, may require third-party software or specific settings to function correctly with the T43 controller.
