4. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, lint-free cloth to clean the objective lens and display screen. For stubborn smudges, a lens cleaning solution designed for optics can be used sparingly.
  • Storage: Store the device in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Ensure the lens caps are on to protect the optics.
  • Battery Care: For long-term storage, charge the battery to approximately 50-70% and recharge every few months to prevent deep discharge.
  • Water Resistance: The device has an IP67 rating, meaning it is protected against dust and can withstand immersion in water up to 1 meter for 30 minutes. However, avoid unnecessary exposure to water and ensure all ports are sealed when wet.

5. Troubleshooting

  • Device not powering on: Ensure the battery is charged. Connect to a power source and try again.
  • Poor image quality: Check if the objective lens is clean. Adjust the focus if available (some models may have a focusing ring).
  • Wi-Fi connection issues: Ensure the device's Wi-Fi is enabled and you are within range of your mobile device. Restart both devices if necessary.
  • Device unresponsive: If the device freezes, press and hold the Power/OK button for an extended period (e.g., 10-15 seconds) to force a restart.
