3. Setup Guide

3.1. Unboxing and Package Contents

Carefully remove the keyboard and accessories from the packaging. Please verify that all items are present:

  • MMD KM-29 Designer Mini Keyboard
  • Type-A to Type-C data cable
  • Instruction Manual (this document)

3.2. Connecting Your Keyboard

The MMD KM-29 supports three connection modes: Wired (Type-C), 2.4G Wireless, and Bluetooth 5.0.

3.2.1. Wired Connection

  1. Connect one end of the provided Type-A to Type-C cable to the keyboard's Type-C port.
  2. Connect the other end of the cable to an available USB port on your computer.
  3. The keyboard will be automatically recognized and ready for use.

3.2.2. 2.4G Wireless Connection

  1. Locate the 2.4G wireless receiver (dongle) usually stored in a compartment on the keyboard or included separately.
  2. Plug the 2.4G receiver into an available USB port on your computer.
  3. Switch the keyboard to 2.4G wireless mode using the mode switch (location may vary, refer to keyboard indicators).
  4. The keyboard should connect automatically. If not, press the pairing button (if available) or consult the specific pairing instructions for 2.4G mode.

3.2.3. Bluetooth Connection

  1. Switch the keyboard to Bluetooth mode using the mode switch.
  2. On your computer or device, enable Bluetooth and search for new devices.
