Setup and Installation
1. Mounting the Device
The EKIY M15 features a magnetic bracket for easy installation and removal. Ensure the bracket is securely attached to your motorcycle's handlebars.
2. Wiring Method
The device supports 5-12 Volt battery power supply and can also be connected via a USB interface cable. For permanent installation, use the ACC power cable.
Follow the wiring diagram below for connecting the device to your motorcycle's power supply:
- Black line (GND): Connect to the negative terminal of the battery.

1. Wireless CarPlay Connection
To connect your iPhone to the device via Wireless CarPlay:
- Click the CarPlay application icon on the device screen to enter the application interface.
- Turn on Wi-Fi on your iPhone.
- Turn on Bluetooth on your iPhone and search for the device named "F601_XXXXXxxx".
- Pair your iPhone with the device and allow synchronization.
- Finally, click "Use CarPlay" on your iPhone.
- After a successful connection, you can use CarPlay for calls, navigation, music, and other functions.
2. Wireless Android Auto Connection
To connect your Android phone to the device via Wireless Android Auto:
- Click the Android Auto application icon on the device screen to enter the application interface.
- Turn on Wi-Fi on your Android phone.
- Turn on Bluetooth on your Android phone and search for the device named "F601_XXXXXxxx".
- Pair your Android phone with the device and allow synchronization. Wait for the connection to establish.
- After a successful connection, you can use Android Auto for phone calls, navigation, music, and other functions.
3. Screen Orientation Adjustment
The device supports both portrait and landscape modes. You can adjust the screen orientation to suit your preferences and vehicle model.
- Click on "Settings" on the device screen.
- Click on "Screen rotation".
- The device will automatically restart to complete the switch.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the screen and device body. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Water Exposure: The device is IP67 waterproof, meaning it is protected against dust and temporary immersion in water. However, avoid exposing it to excessive water pressure or prolonged submersion. Do not expose the machine to water when washing the motorcycle.
- Temperature: The device is designed to operate between -20°C and 70°C. Avoid installing or storing it in places exposed to direct sunlight or extremely high temperatures, especially when parking. If the interior temperature of your motorcycle is too high after parking in the sun, allow it to cool down before turning on the device.

Troubleshooting
Bluetooth Connection Issues
- Apple CarPlay: If you cannot connect, go to your iPhone's Settings > General > CarPlay. Delete all previously paired devices and then attempt to connect again.
- Android Auto: If you cannot connect, go to your Android phone's Settings > Apps > Google Play Services > Storage and Cache. Clear the cache and then clear all data. Then attempt to connect again.
