1. Introduction

2. Setup

2.1 Unboxing and Initial Inspection

2.2 Charging the Device

Before first use, fully charge the device. Connect the provided USB Type-C cable to the device's charging port and a 5V/2A power adapter (not included). The battery indicator on the screen will show charging status.

2.3 Attaching Probes

Connect the oscilloscope probes to the OSC 1 and OSC 2 BNC connectors at the top of the device. Ensure a secure connection. For multimeter functions, use the multimeter probe.

2.4 Powering On/Off

Press and hold the power button (usually located on the side or bottom) to turn the device on or off. The device features an automatic power-off function to conserve battery.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 General Interface and Navigation

The BSIDE O2 features a 3.98-inch full touch screen for intuitive operation. You can interact directly with the display to adjust settings and view waveforms. Additionally, a 'Function Wheel' provides an alternative method for navigation and parameter adjustment.

3.2 Oscilloscope Functions

The oscilloscope mode allows for detailed analysis of electrical signals.

  • Dual Channel Operation: The device supports two independent channels (OSC 1 and OSC 2) for simultaneous waveform display and comparison.
  • Parameter Adjustment: Use the touch screen or function wheel to adjust settings such as Voltage Scale (V/div), Time Base (s/div), and Trigger Level.
  • Trigger Modes: Select from AUTO, Normal, or Single trigger modes. Trigger types include Rising Edge and Falling Edge.
  • Waveform Display: View waveforms in XY, YT, or Scroll modes.
  • Measurements: The device can automatically measure various parameters including Period, Frequency, Peak-to-Peak value, Maximum value, Minimum value, Average value, Effective value, Amplitude, Duty Cycle, and Pulse Width.
  • Math Calculations: Perform mathematical operations on waveforms such as 1+2, 1-2, 1*2, 1/2, -1, -2, |1|, |2|, and FFT.
  • Waveform Saving: The built-in 120Mbit storage space can save up to 250 waveforms and 90 screenshots for later review.
  • PC Connection: Easily connect the device to a PC via the USB Type-C cable to export waveform images and conduct secondary analysis.

3.3 Signal Generator Functions

  • Waveform Types: Output 12 kinds of function signals including sinusoidal wave, square wave, sawtooth wave, half wave, full wave, positive step wave, negative step wave, DC signal, exponential rise, exponential fall, multi-audio, and sync pulse.
  • Adjustable Parameters: Set the output frequency (0-2MHz, with sine wave up to 10MHz and other waveforms up to 5MHz), amplitude (0.1V-3.0V), and square wave duty cycle (0-99%).
