5. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your OPTFOCUS 4G WIFI6 LTE Router, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- No network connection after SIM insertion: Ensure the SIM card was inserted while the router was powered off. Hot-swapping is not supported and can lead to recognition errors. Verify that your local SIM card's 4G/3G bands are compatible with the router's supported bands (4G: B1/3/5/7/8/20/38/40/41; 3G: B1/5/8).
- Slow internet speed: Check the signal strength indicator on the router. If the signal is weak, try repositioning the router or manually selecting a different frequency band in the settings. Ensure your data plan is active and has sufficient allowance.
- Cannot access the router's web configuration page: Verify that your computer's IP address settings are set to 'obtain automatically'. Double-check the IP address entered in the browser and the login credentials (default: admin/admin).
- Router not connecting to 5G network: This model is a 4G LTE router and does not support 5G connectivity. It operates on 4G and 3G networks.
- Compatibility in specific regions (e.g., Saudi Arabia, Haiti): The router supports 4G bands B1/3/5/7/8/20/38/40/41 and 3G bands B1/5/8, which are compatible with many regions including EU, ASIA, and AFRICA. For specific countries, please verify your local carrier's network bands against these specifications to ensure compatibility.
