2. Setup Instructions

2.1 Unpacking

Carefully unpack all components from the customized thickened carton with foam mold protection. Verify that all items listed in the package contents are present.

2.2 Assembling the Stand

  1. Attach the microscope camera to the tripod head of the stand. The tripod head allows for 360° rotation and 90° angle adjustment.
  2. Secure the stand to a stable surface using the clamp. The clamp is suitable for various table types including marble, metal, glass, and wooden tables.

2.3 Attaching Objective Lenses

Select the desired objective lens (0.3X, 0.5X, or 2X) and screw it onto the microscope camera. Ensure it is securely fastened.

  • 0.3X Objective: Provides a working distance of 17-333cm and a magnification of 45X.
  • 0.5X Objective: Provides a working distance of 10-200cm and a magnification of 75X.
  • 2X Objective: Provides a working distance of 2.5-50cm and a magnification of 300X.

2.4 Attaching the Ring Light

If using the adjustable ring light, attach it around the objective lens. Connect its power cable to a suitable power source (110V-220V input, DC12V/1A output). The ring light has 56 LEDs and a dimmer to adjust brightness.

2.5 Powering On and Connectivity

Connect the microscope camera to a power source using the provided EU/US plug. The camera can be connected to a display via HDMI or to a computer via Type-C.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 HDMI Connection (Display Output)

Connect the camera to an HDMI-compatible display using an HDMI cable. The camera will output live video feed to the display. You can capture pictures and videos directly to a TF card inserted into the camera's Micro SD slot.

3.2 Type-C Connection (PC Software)

Connect the camera to a computer using a Type-C cable. Install the "S-EYE" software (ImageView program) on your computer. This software enables real-time high-definition imaging, intelligent shooting, and professional measurement functions.

Note: The "S-EYE" software is not compatible with Apple computers.

3.3 Remote Control Functions

The included remote control allows for various operations without touching the microscope, minimizing shaking. (Remote control batteries are not included; requires CR2025 battery).

  • Take a picture: Capture still images.
  • Videotape: Start/stop video recording.
  • Upward/Zoom in: Increase magnification.
  • Downward/downsize: Decrease magnification.
  • Decrease item: Navigate menu options.
  • Increase item: Navigate menu options.
  • Menu: Access camera settings menu.
  • White Balance (Auto/Once): Adjust white balance automatically or with one-touch.
  • Freeze: Freeze the live image.
  • Exposure Settings (AE/ME): Adjust exposure automatically or manually.

3.4 Camera Settings (On-Screen Menu)

Access the camera settings menu via the remote control or buttons on the camera. The menu allows adjustment of various parameters:

  • Exposure: Adjust image brightness.
  • AWB (Auto White Balance): Automatic white balance.
  • REC resolution: Set video recording resolution (4K/1080P).
  • Image resolution: Set still image resolution (4K).
  • Display ratio: Adjust aspect ratio (e.g., 16:9).
  • Sharpness, Saturation, Contrast: Fine-tune image quality.
  • Cross Line: Enable/disable and adjust crosshairs.
  • Freeze: Pause the live view.
  • Black & white, Negative film, Horizontal Flip, Vertical Flip: Apply image effects.
  • Deflicker: Reduce flickering from lighting.
  • Language: Select menu language (11 languages supported).

4. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the microscope camera and stand. For lenses, use a specialized lens cleaning cloth and solution to avoid scratches.
  • Storage: When not in use, store the microscope in a clean, dry environment, preferably in its original packaging or a protective case, to prevent dust accumulation and damage.
  • Power: Disconnect the power adapter when the microscope is not in use for extended periods.

5. Troubleshooting

5.1 No Image on Display (HDMI)

  • Ensure the HDMI cable is securely connected to both the microscope camera and the display.
  • Verify the display input source is set correctly to the HDMI port connected to the microscope.
  • Check if the microscope camera is powered on.
  • Try a different HDMI cable or display to rule out faulty equipment.

5.2 Software Not Detecting Camera (Type-C)

  • Ensure the Type-C cable is securely connected to both the microscope camera and the computer.
  • Verify the "S-EYE" (ImageView) software is correctly installed and running.
  • Check if the microscope camera is powered on.
  • Ensure your computer meets the minimum system requirements for the software.
  • Remember that the software is not compatible with Apple computers.

5.3 Blurred Image

  • Adjust the focus ring on the objective lens.
  • Ensure the working distance between the lens and the object is within the specified range for the installed objective lens.
  • Clean the objective lens and camera sensor if there is any dust or smudges.
  • Adjust the ring light brightness for optimal illumination.

5.4 Remote Control Not Responding

  • Check if the remote control battery (CR2025) is installed correctly and has sufficient power.
  • Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote control and the camera's IR receiver.
