6. Setup Instructions
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the dehumidifier from its packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
- Placement: Place the unit upright on a firm, level surface. Ensure there is at least 20-30 cm (8-12 inches) of space around the unit for proper airflow. Do not place it against a wall or near heat sources.
- Water Tank: Ensure the water tank is correctly seated in the unit. The video demonstrates how to remove and re-insert the water tank.

7.1 Control Panel Functions
Refer to Figure 4.2 for the layout of the control panel.
- Power Button: Press to turn the unit ON or OFF.
- Mode Button: Cycle through available modes such as Auto Dehumidifying, Clothes Drying, and potentially other specific modes.
- Fan Speed Button: Adjust the fan speed (High, Medium, Low) to control the rate of dehumidification and noise level.
- Humidity Setting: Use the up/down arrows (or similar controls) to set your desired humidity level (e.g., 40% - 60% RH is commonly recommended). The unit will operate until this level is reached.
- Timer Button: Set a timer for the unit to automatically turn ON or OFF after a specified period (e.g., 24 Hours Timer - off).

8. Maintenance

8.1 Emptying the Water Tank

8.2 Cleaning the Air Filter
The air filter should be cleaned regularly (e.g., every two weeks or as needed) to maintain optimal performance. A dirty filter can reduce efficiency and airflow.
- Unplug the dehumidifier from the power outlet.
- Remove the air filter cover located at the rear of the unit.
