Maintenance

Firmware Updates

Regularly check for and install firmware updates to ensure optimal performance, security, and access to new features. This can usually be done through the 'Update' section in the web management interface.

Backup & Restore

It is recommended to back up your router's configuration settings before making significant changes or performing a firmware update. You can restore these settings later if needed, typically found under 'System -> Backup & Restore'.

Resetting the Device

If you encounter persistent issues, you may need to reset the router to its factory default settings. This can be done via the web interface ('System -> Backup & Restore') or by pressing the physical 'Reset' button on the device (usually a small pinhole button on the bottom or rear, requiring a paperclip to press and hold for several seconds).

Troubleshooting

  • No Internet Connection:
    • Check if the SIM card is correctly inserted and activated.
    • Verify that the Network LED indicator is stable.
    • Ensure your mobile network connection mode is set to 'Automatic' or configured correctly in the web interface.
    • Check your data plan and signal strength in the web interface.
  • Slow Wi-Fi Speed:
    • Ensure your devices are connected to the 5GHz or 6GHz band for higher speeds, if supported.
    • Reduce the number of connected devices or move closer to the router.
    • Check for interference from other electronic devices.
    • Consider connecting external antennas for improved signal.
  • Wi-Fi Network Not Visible:
    • Ensure Wi-Fi is enabled in the web interface.
    • Check if SSID broadcast is enabled.
    • Restart the router and your connecting device.
  • Cannot Access Web Management Interface:
    • Verify your device is connected to the router's network.
    • Ensure you are using the correct IP address (e.g., http://192.168.0.1).
    • Clear your browser's cache or try a different browser.
