Setup
- Prepare the Sealant Cartridge:
Cut off the tip of the sealant cartridge nozzle with a utility knife or scissors tool to the desired bead size. Puncture the inner seal of the cartridge if present.

Press the clutch button on the tool and pull out the plunger rod completely. Insert the sealant cartridge into the gun barrel. Ensure it is seated correctly.

Ensure the battery is charged. Align the battery pack with the battery slot on the tool handle and slide it in until it clicks into place. The tool is compatible with Makita 18V B series lithium batteries (e.g., BL1830, BL1850, BL1840, BL1840B, BL1850B). It is NOT compatible with DC18WA, BL1813G, BL1413G, G Series batteries, or 18V Ni-CD batteries.

Operating Instructions
- Select Speed Level:
The tool features 6 variable speed settings. Rotate the speed adjustment dial to choose the desired forcing speed. Speed 1 is 70-90 mm/min, up to Speed 6 which is 170-200 mm/min. Start with a lower speed and adjust as needed for your application and sealant type.

Depress the switch trigger to begin dispensing sealant. The variable trigger allows for fine control over the flow rate. Release the trigger to stop the flow.

When the trigger is released, the plunger automatically springs back approximately 3mm to prevent excess glue from dripping, ensuring a clean finish and saving material.

The tool is equipped with a super bright 450 Lumens LED light to illuminate your work area, making it easier to work in dark corners or low-light conditions.

Monitor the tool's voltage and use time with the integrated digital display, providing real-time feedback for better control and planning.

The Gisam Electric Glue Gun is suitable for various applications including tiles seam, woodworking, toilet gap sealing, and window gap filling.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: After each use, remove the sealant cartridge. Clean any excess sealant from the gun barrel, nozzle, and plunger rod using a suitable solvent recommended by the sealant manufacturer. Do not immerse the tool in liquids.
- Battery Care:
- Always charge the battery fully before first use.
- Store batteries in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Do not store batteries in a discharged state for extended periods.
- Use only the charger provided or recommended by the manufacturer.
- Storage: Store the electric glue gun in its original box or a protective case in a dry, secure location out of reach of children.
Troubleshooting
User Tips
- For optimal performance and longer run time, consider using batteries with a capacity of 5.0AH - 6.0AH, especially for larger projects.
- Always test the sealant flow on a scrap piece of material before applying to your main project to ensure the correct speed and bead size.
- When working in tight or dark spaces, fully utilize the built-in LED light for improved visibility and accuracy.
- To avoid wrist and arm strain, allow the electric gun to do the work, maintaining a steady pace, as highlighted by the 'Wrist-Friendly' design.
