Setup

  1. **Unpacking**: Carefully remove the light unit and all accessories from the packaging. Inspect for any damage during transit.
  2. **Mounting**: Attach the provided light hook bracket to the bottom of the unit using the two screws. Ensure the bracket is securely fastened. The unit can be placed on a flat surface or mounted to a truss or ceiling using appropriate clamps (not included) and safety cables.
  3. **Power Connection**: Connect the power cord to the 'POWER' input on the rear of the light unit and then to a suitable AC100V-240V 50/60Hz power outlet.
  4. **DMX Connection (Optional)**: If using DMX control, connect a DMX cable from your DMX controller's output to the 'DMX IN' port on the light. For multiple units, daisy-chain them by connecting the 'DMX OUT' of the first unit to the 'DMX IN' of the next.
  5. **Initial Power On**: Once connected, turn on the power. The digital display on the unit will illuminate.

Operating Modes

The ZQ02626 light offers five primary control modes:

  • **Self-propelled (Auto Mode)**: The light runs through pre-programmed patterns and color changes automatically.
  • **Voice Control (Sound-activated Mode)**: The light reacts to sound and music, changing patterns and intensity in sync with the audio.
  • **Master-Slave Mode**: Connect multiple units via DMX cables. Set one unit as 'Master' and others as 'Slave'. Slave units will mirror the Master's operation.
  • **DMX Control**: For professional control, connect to a DMX512 controller. Refer to the DMX channel chart (not provided in this manual, typically found in a separate DMX guide) for detailed control parameters.
  • **Remote Control**: Use the included wireless remote for convenient operation.
