3. Setup

3.1 Charging the Remote Control

Connect the ET01 remote control to a 5V, 600mA USB power source using the provided Type-C cable. The charging time is approximately 2 hours. The LCD display may indicate charging status.

3.2 Binding the ET01 Remote Control

To establish a secure connection with your receiver, you need to set a binding phrase in expert mode.

  1. Power on the ET01 remote control.
  2. Navigate to the 'Expert Mode' menu.
  3. Locate the 'Binding Phase' setting.
  4. Enter your desired binding phrase. This phrase ensures secure communication.
  5. The system may generate UID values (UID 0-5) based on the binding phrase.

3.3 ER01 Receiver (Optional)

The ER01 receiver is sold separately. If you are using an ER01 receiver, please note the following:

  • Rated Voltage: 5V

  • Failsafe: By default, the ER01 receiver outputs no signal during failsafe.
  • Professional Settings:
    1. When the receiver has no signal output, the failsafe protection authority is transferred to the flight controller.
    2. Users can change the receiver's failsafe protection or other parameters via WiFi.

Important: Always ensure failsafe protection is correctly configured on your receiver to prevent loss of control in case of signal loss.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Menu Navigation

The ET01 features a comprehensive menu system for configuration. Use the Left, Right, and Confirm buttons to navigate.
