Setup Instructions

1. Powering On/Off

Locate the ON/OFF switch on the side of the keyboard. Slide it to 'ON' to power on the keyboard and 'OFF' to power it down.

2. Connecting to Your Device

The TK100 keyboard supports three connection modes: 2.4G wireless, Bluetooth 1 (BT1), and Bluetooth 2 (BT2). You can switch between these modes using the dedicated switch next to the charging port.

2.1. 2.4G Wireless Connection

  1. Locate the hidden USB wireless receiver in the lower section of the keyboard. Gently pull it out.
  2. Plug the USB receiver into an available USB port on your computer.
  3. Slide the keyboard's mode switch to the '2.4G' position.
  4. The keyboard should automatically connect to your device. The smart screen will indicate the 2.4G connection status.

2.2. Bluetooth Connection (BT1 / BT2)

  1. Slide the keyboard's mode switch to either 'BT1' or 'BT2' position.
  2. On your device (computer, tablet, phone), open Bluetooth settings.
  3. Search for new Bluetooth devices. The keyboard should appear as 'TK100' or similar.
  4. Select the keyboard to pair. The smart screen will indicate the BT1 or BT2 connection status.
  5. You can pair two different devices using BT1 and BT2 modes, and switch between them as needed.

3. Charging the Keyboard

The keyboard has a built-in 2000mAh lithium battery. When the battery is low, the smart screen will display a low battery indicator. Connect the keyboard to a computer's USB port using the provided USB-C cable for charging. The smart screen will show the charging state.

Note: Only supports charging via a computer's USB interface. Do not use wall adapters.

Operating Instructions

1. Smart Screen Display

The integrated smart screen provides real-time information:

  • Battery Level: Displays the current battery percentage.
  • Connection Status: Indicates whether the keyboard is connected via 2.4G, BT1, or BT2.
  • Charging State: Shows when the keyboard is being charged.

2. Volume Control Knob

The rotary knob located on the top right of the keyboard controls audio volume:

  • Rotate Clockwise: Increases volume.
  • Rotate Counter-clockwise: Decreases volume.
  • Press Down: Toggles mute/unmute.

Troubleshooting

  • Keyboard not connecting:
    • Ensure the keyboard is powered on.
    • Check that the mode switch is set to the correct position (2.4G, BT1, or BT2).
    • For 2.4G, ensure the USB receiver is securely plugged into your device.
    • For Bluetooth, ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device and try re-pairing.
    • Check the battery level on the smart screen and charge if necessary.
  • Keys not responding:
    • Verify the keyboard is connected.
    • Restart the keyboard and your device.
    • Ensure the Win Lock function (FN+Windows key) is not active if experiencing issues with the Windows key.
  • Backlight not working or changing:
    • Use FN + \ | to cycle through backlight modes.
    • Use FN + Up/Down Arrow keys to adjust brightness.
    • Use FN + Left/Right Arrow keys to adjust breathing speed.
  • Smart screen not displaying information:
    • Ensure the keyboard is powered on.
    • If the screen is blank, the battery might be completely drained. Charge the keyboard.

  • Switch Type Clarification: While the keyboard offers a 'mechanical feel', its operation style is membrane. This provides a quieter typing experience compared to traditional mechanical switches, while still offering tactile feedback.
  • Multi-Device Workflow: Utilize the BT1 and BT2 modes to quickly switch between two different Bluetooth-enabled devices (e.g., a laptop and a tablet) without re-pairing.
  • Optimizing Battery Life: If you don't need the RGB backlighting, turning it off or reducing its brightness can significantly extend the keyboard's battery life.
