1. Important Safety Instructions

Please read and understand all instructions before using this heater. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or serious injury.

  • Always plug heaters directly into a wall outlet/receptacle. Never use with an extension cord or relocatable power tap (outlet/power strip).
  • This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces.
  • Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains at least 1 meter (3 feet) from the front of the heater and keep them away from the sides and rear.
  • Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children or invalids and whenever the heater is left operating and unattended.
  • Always unplug heater when not in use.
  • Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug or after the heater malfunctions, has been dropped or damaged in any manner.
  • Do not use outdoors.
  • To disconnect heater, turn controls to off, then remove plug from outlet.
  • Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the heater.
  • To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
  • This heater has an automatic overheating protection system. If the heater overheats, it will automatically shut off. Unplug the heater, wait for it to cool down, and then plug it back in.
  • Ensure the power supply voltage matches the rating label on the heater.

3. Setup and Installation

This heater is designed for wall-mounting. Ensure you have the necessary tools (drill, screwdriver, level, measuring tape) before beginning installation.

Wall Mounting:

  1. Choose a Location: Select a suitable wall location, ensuring it is away from combustible materials (at least 1 meter) and not directly above or below a power outlet. The wall must be sturdy enough to support the heater's weight.
  2. Mark Drilling Points: Use the provided mounting template (if available) or measure the distance between the mounting holes on the back of the heater. Mark these points on the wall using a pencil and a level to ensure horizontal alignment.
  3. Drill Holes: Drill holes at the marked points. The size of the drill bit should match the wall anchors provided.
  4. Insert Wall Anchors: Gently tap the wall anchors into the drilled holes until they are flush with the wall surface.
  5. Secure Mounting Bracket: Attach the mounting bracket (if separate) or the heater directly to the wall using the screws provided, tightening them into the wall anchors.
  6. Mount the Heater: Carefully lift the heater and align its mounting slots with the screws or bracket on the wall. Secure the heater in place.

Remote Control Battery Installation:

The remote control requires one CR2025 battery (included).

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.
  2. Pull out the battery tray.
  3. Insert the CR2025 battery with the positive (+) side facing up.
  4. Slide the battery tray back into the remote control until it clicks into place.

4. Operating Instructions

The heater can be operated using the control panel on the unit or the included remote control.

  • Temp (Temperature): Adjusts the desired temperature (18°C - 45°C). Use the 'Set' button on the remote or the 'Temp' button on the unit to enter temperature adjustment mode, then use arrow keys (on remote) or repeated presses (on unit) to select.
  • Timer: Sets the operating timer from 1 to 12 hours. Press the 'Timer' button, then use arrow keys (on remote) or repeated presses (on unit) to select the desired duration.
  • Swing: Activates or deactivates the oscillation function for wider heat distribution.
  • OK/Set: Confirms selections on the remote control.
  • Cancel: Cancels current settings or exits a menu on the remote control.

General Operation:

  1. Power On: Plug the heater into a suitable 220-240V/5Hz power outlet. Press the 'ON/OFF Heat' button on the control panel or remote control. The LED display will illuminate.
  2. Select Heating Mode: Press the 'ON/OFF Heat' button again to cycle between 1000W and 2000W heating modes. The display will indicate the current mode.
  3. Set Temperature: Press the 'Temp' button. The temperature display will flash. Use the arrow buttons on the remote or repeated presses of the 'Temp' button on the unit to adjust the desired temperature between 18°C and 45°C. The heater will maintain this temperature.
  4. Set Timer: Press the 'Timer' button. The timer display will flash. Use the arrow buttons on the remote or repeated presses of the 'Time' button on the unit to set the desired operating duration from 1 to 12 hours. The heater will automatically turn off after the set time.
  5. Activate Oscillation: Press the 'Swing' button to start or stop the oscillation function.
  6. Power Off: Press the 'ON/OFF Heat' button to turn off the heater. Unplug the unit from the wall outlet when not in use for extended periods.

5. Maintenance

Regular cleaning and proper storage will help maintain the performance and longevity of your heater.

Cleaning:

  • Always unplug the heater from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  • Wipe the exterior surfaces of the heater with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Use a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment to remove dust from the air intake and outlet grilles.

6. Troubleshooting
