2.3 Wiring
All wiring should be performed by qualified personnel. Ensure the power supply is disconnected before making any connections. The device requires a DC24V input.
2.3.1 Power Supply and Grounding
Connect the FG (Frame Ground), 0V (Negative), and DC24V (Positive) terminals as shown in the rear view diagram. Proper grounding is essential for stable operation and safety.
2.3.2 Digital Input/Output Wiring
The digital input (X) is an externally powered DC24V sinker (passive NPN). The input signal is isolated from the power supply. Connect COM to the positive 24V of the external power supply while using. The digital output terminals are grouped, and each group is electrically isolated. For relay outputs, COM is common to the positive or negative. For transistor outputs, COM is common to the negative.

2.3.3 Analog Input/Output Wiring (Optional)
For models with analog capabilities, refer to the specific wiring diagrams. Analog inputs support various types including voltage (0-5V, 0-10V), current (0-20mA, 4-20mA), and temperature sensors (Thermocouple J/K, PT100, PT1000, NTC10K/100K). Analog outputs support voltage (0-5V, 0-10V) and current (0-20mA, 4-20mA).

3.3 PLC Programming
The PLC can be programmed using Mitsubishi software such as GX Developer (versions 8.86 and 8.52) and GX Works2. Refer to the respective software manuals for detailed programming instructions.
3.3.1 Analog Input Register Operation
Analog input register operation is 12-bit precision. Input values can be read from D0 to D400. The constant scan time is 100. For temperature inputs, the corresponding value is the temperature in degrees Celsius, with a decimal point. For example, 182.0°C is represented as 1820.
3.3.2 Analog Output Register Operation
Analog output register operation is 12-bit precision. Output channels (DA0-DA7) correspond to the analog output value. The set value range is 0-4000. For 0-20mA output, D8058.7=0. For 4-20mA output, D8058.7=1.

4. Maintenance
4.1 General Care
- Keep the device clean and free from dust and debris. Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning.
- Avoid exposing the device to extreme temperatures, humidity, or direct sunlight.
- Ensure proper ventilation around the unit to prevent overheating.
4.2 Power-Off Hold Functions
The HMI PLC's device power-off maintenance is permanently maintained. All data in the HMI and PLC areas are not lost after the module is powered off. The real-time clock uses a rechargeable battery to ensure that the clock is current. All power-off hold functions must ensure DC24V. The voltage after the source is loaded is 23V or more, and the PLC power-on time is longer than 2 minutes, otherwise the power-off function will be abnormal.
4.3 Environmental Conditions
The device is designed to operate within specific environmental parameters:
- Operating Temperature: 0°C - 50°C
- Relative Humidity: 5% - 95% RH (non-condensing)
- Storage Temperature: -20°C - 70°C
- Vibration Frequency: 10-57Hz, amplitude 0.035mm; 57Hz-150Hz, acceleration 4.9m/s² (10 times each on X, Y, Z, total 60 minutes each).
5. Troubleshooting
This section provides guidance for common issues. For complex problems, contact technical support.
5.1 User Tips for Troubleshooting and Safe Operation

Figure 12: Important User Tips.
- Power Supply: Always use a regular power supply that matches the specified voltage (DC24V). Ensure the power supply output voltage is 18W or higher and 24V.
- Wiring: Before installation, tighten screws and clamp guides to avoid falling. Incorrect wiring can cause electric shock or circuit fault.
- Grounding: Properly ground the device. Improper grounding can cause abnormal operation. Do not drop metal shavings and wire tips into the control vent holes.
- Short Circuits: Do not short-circuit the power supply. This can cause product malfunctions and faults.
- Communication: Keep communication cables short (under 10m) and away from strong interference sources.
- External Power: The digital input is an externally powered DC24V leakage type (passive NPN). Connect to the positive 24V pole of the external power supply.
- Common Terminal: The COM of the binary input/output (transistor) is common to the cathode.
- Disassembly: Do not disassemble the product or modify the wiring optionally. Otherwise, it may cause fault, malfunction, loss of time.
- Damage: Make sure to turn off all power when you install or dismantle the product, otherwise it may cause malfunction or fault.
