5.2. Image Modes

The UTi260B Plus offers four image modes to suit different observation needs:

  • Thermal Imaging: Displays only the infrared thermal image.
  • T-Mix Fusion: Combines thermal and visible light images to clearly outline target edges and highlight details.
  • Picture-in-Picture: Overlays a smaller thermal image onto a visible light image.
  • Visible Light: Displays only the visible light image from the built-in camera.

5.3. Color Palettes

Choose from seven color palettes to better visualize temperature differences:

  • Iron Red
  • Rainbow
  • White Hot
  • Lava
  • High-Contrast Rainbow
  • Red Hot
  • Black Heat

5.4. Temperature Measurement Tools

The device allows for advanced temperature analysis by adding up to five points and three rectangles (a total of six measurement tools) on the screen. These tools can simultaneously monitor temperature at different positions or calculate average, highest, and lowest temperatures over a specified area.

5.5. High and Low Temperature Alarm

Configure high and low temperature alarm values. When the set temperature limit is exceeded, the device will trigger visual symbols on the screen, flashing lights, and an audible buzzer to alert the user to potential problem areas.

5.6. Taking Pictures and Recording Video

Press the camera trigger button to capture thermal images (JPG format) or record video. Images and videos are stored on the built-in 8GB/32GB storage.

5.7. LED Lighting

The integrated LED lighting lamp helps illuminate objects in dim environments, ensuring clear visible light images when using fusion modes or the visible light camera.

6. Maintenance

6.1. Cleaning

  • Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the exterior of the device.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Gently clean the lens with a lens cleaning cloth or brush designed for optics.

6.2. Storage

  • When not in use for extended periods, store the device in a dry, cool place.
  • Ensure the battery is partially charged (around 50%) before long-term storage to prolong battery life.
  • Avoid storing the device in areas with extreme temperatures or high humidity.

6.3. IP65 Protection

The UTi260B Plus features an IP65 protection grade, making it waterproof and dustproof, and capable of withstanding a 2-meter drop. While robust, avoid intentional abuse and ensure the Type-C port cover is securely closed when not in use to maintain its protective rating.
