7.2. Important Function Descriptions

  • Loop Recording: The dash cam continuously records. When the TF card is full, the oldest video files will be overwritten to make space for new recordings. The loop recording duration can be adjusted in the app (1/2/3 minutes). For optimal user experience, video clips are limited to 3 minutes when recording with a 256GB memory card.
  • Diagram illustrating endless loop recording and estimated recording times for different TF card sizes (32GB, 64GB, 128GB, 256GB).
Loop recording ensures continuous footage. Estimated recording hours for various TF card capacities.
  • G-sensor (Emergency Recording): When the vehicle experiences a collision or significant vibration, the built-in G-sensor automatically triggers emergency video recording and locks the video file. These emergency videos are stored in a separate folder to prevent them from being overwritten by regular loop recordings, protecting vital evidence.
  • Illustration of emergency recording activating during a car collision, showing the video being locked.
Emergency recording captures and locks critical moments during collisions.
  • Parking Mode (Additional Hardwire Kit Required): When connected to an optional hardwire kit (purchased separately), the dash cam enables 24-hour parking surveillance. In this mode, the dash cam will automatically start recording and lock the video when a collision or unusual motion is detected while parked.
  • Time-lapse (Additional Hardwire Kit Required): After correctly connecting the hardwiring kit, enable this feature via the app for 24-hour continuous monitoring. A 30-minute real-time video will be compressed to 1 minute, saving storage space.

  • Format the card via the dash cam after initial insertion.
  • Back up important data beforehand (formatting erases all content).

8.3. Routine Maintenance

  • Format monthly to maintain read/write performance.
  • Avoid inserting or removing the card while the dash cam is powered on.
  • Replace the card immediately if it experiences read/write errors or abnormal capacity due to repeated overwriting.

9. User Tips

  • Optimal Night Vision: The NightEagle™ Engine enhances night vision by 30%, improves color accuracy by 40% with an upgraded sensor color filter, and boosts overall image clarity by 45% with a newly upgraded chip, sensor, and lens. For best results, ensure your windshield is clean.
  • Comparison of NightEagle™ Engine night vision versus standard night vision, showing clearer details like license plates.
NightEagle™ Engine provides clearer nighttime footage.
  • Temperature Resilience: The dash cam uses a Super Capacitor, not a lithium-ion battery, making it highly resistant to extreme temperatures. It operates reliably in working temperatures from -20°C to 70°C (-4°F to 149°F) and can be stored in temperatures from -30°C to 80°C (-22°F to 176°F).
  • Image illustrating the wide operating and storage temperature ranges of the Super Capacitor-powered dash cam, showing cars in desert and snowy environments.
Super Capacitor ensures durability in extreme temperatures.
  • WDR for Balanced Footage: Utilize the Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) technology for clear images in varying lighting conditions, intelligently balancing highlights and shadows.
  • Comparison of video footage in 'Too Light', 'WDR', and 'Too Dark' conditions, demonstrating WDR's ability to balance exposure.
