1. Introduction
The ANENG PN130 is a compact and intelligent digital clamp meter designed for various electrical measurements. It features automatic range selection, non-contact voltage (NCV) detection, and a clear VA color screen. This manual provides essential information for safe and effective use of the instrument.
2. Safety Information
WARNING: Always adhere to safety precautions to prevent electric shock or damage to the instrument.
- Do not touch the probes directly with your hands to avoid electric shock and ensure personal safety during testing.
- Before use, inspect the test probes to ensure there is no damaged insulation or exposed metal.
- Do not use the current and voltage ranges interchangeably to prevent damage to the instrument.
- If you do not know the magnitude of the voltage or current to be measured, start with the highest range and then select the appropriate range based on the measured value.
- The product is for reference only. When measuring current, the measured fluid should be placed in the center of the clamp to avoid length error.
- AC current measurement can only measure the zero line or fire line, and only a single core line. Common electrical appliances in the home power supply line are not measured because they contain multiple core wires.

5. Setup
5.1. Charging the Battery
The ANENG PN130 features a built-in lithium battery. To charge the device, connect the provided USB Type-C charging cable to the meter and a suitable USB power source.

A low power indicator will appear on the display when the battery needs charging.
5.2. Connecting Test Probes
For measurements requiring test probes (e.g., voltage, resistance, capacitance, diode, continuity), insert the black test lead into the COM (negative) input and the red test lead into the INPUT (positive) input.
5.3. Using the Buckle
The meter features a buckle for securing the clamp. To unlock and remove the buckle, move it to the middle position. To lock it in place, move it to the closed position to prevent it from falling off.

6. Operating Instructions
6.1. Power On/Off
Long press the power button (6) to turn the device on or off. The meter features an automatic shutdown function after 15 minutes of inactivity to conserve battery.
6.2. Automatic Range
The PN130 features automatic range selection, simplifying measurements by automatically choosing the appropriate range.
6.3. Data Hold and Flashlight
Short press the HOLD button (10) to freeze the current reading on the display. Long press the HOLD button (10) to turn the flashlight and backlight on or off, providing illumination in dark environments.

6.4. Measurement Functions
Use the SELECT button (4) to cycle through different measurement modes.
6.4.1. AC Current Measurement (A~)
Clamp the single strand of the wire with the pliers to measure AC current. Ensure the wire is placed in the center of the clamp for accurate readings.

Important: AC current measurement can only be performed on a single core wire (zero line or fire line). Do not attempt to measure multi-core power supply lines of common electrical appliances.

6.4.2. DC Voltage Measurement (V=)
Connect the test probes to the circuit. The meter will display the DC voltage value.
6.4.3. AC Voltage Measurement (V~)
Connect the test probes to the circuit. The meter will display the AC voltage value (e.g., commonly 220V for home circuits).

6.4.4. Resistance Measurement (Ω)
Connect the test probes across the component to measure resistance. The meter automatically recognizes resistance.
6.4.5. Diode Test
Select diode mode. Connect the test probes to the diode, aligning positive and negative terminals, to measure its forward voltage drop.
6.4.6. Continuity Test (On-off buzzer detection)
Select continuity mode. Connect the test probes across the circuit. A beep indicates continuity (low resistance).
6.4.7. Capacitance Measurement
Select capacitance mode. Connect the test probes to the capacitor. Ensure the capacitor is discharged before measurement.

6.4.8. Frequency Measurement (Hz)
Press SELECT to switch to Hz Frequency mode. The frequency value can be obtained by measuring the AC voltage.
6.4.9. NCV Voltage Detection
Select NCV mode. Bring the meter close to a live AC voltage source without direct contact. The meter will automatically recognize NCV, and an alarm will sound faster as it gets closer to the power source.

7. Maintenance
7.1. Cleaning
Wipe the meter with a dry, soft cloth. Do not use abrasives or solvents.
7.2. Battery Care
The device uses a built-in lithium battery. Recharge it regularly to maintain battery health. Ensure it is charged periodically even when not in use for extended periods.
8. Troubleshooting
- "OL" Display: Indicates an overload or out-of-range measurement. Select a higher range or ensure the measurement is within the meter's capabilities.
- Low Power Display: Recharge the built-in lithium battery.
- No Reading / Incorrect Reading:
- Check test lead connections.
- Ensure test probes are not damaged.
- Verify the correct function mode is selected.
- For current measurements, ensure only a single core wire is clamped.
- Product Not Operating Properly: If the product does not operate normally during use, contact ANENG customer service.
