6. Setup
6.1 Unfolding the Scooter
- Place the scooter on a flat surface.
- Release the folding mechanism latch, usually located near the base of the steering column.

6.2 Initial Charge

7. Operating Instructions

- Once moving, place your second foot on the deck.

- To brake, release the accelerator and gently squeeze the brake levers.
7.3 Folding the Scooter
The JOYOR Y8-S features a quick 1-second folding mechanism for easy storage and transport.

- Locate the folding latch at the base of the steering column.
- Disengage the latch and carefully fold the steering column downwards until it clicks into its folded position.
