1. Introduction
The FMS Syncpilot FPV Head Tracker Set is a motion-based control system designed to enhance your First Person View (FPV) experience in RC planes, boats, and cars. It translates your head movements into real-time control signals, allowing for immersive and responsive camera control. When mounted on FPV goggles, the system wirelessly transmits these signals to a gimbal, which then adjusts the camera's orientation to match your head's movement.

Key features of the SyncPilot Head Tracker: Wireless 2.4G Independent Transmission, High Compatibility, Universal for Land, Sea and Air applications, and Out-of-control Reset Protection.
2. What's in the Box
The Syncpilot FPV Head Tracker Set includes the following components:
- Head Tracking Module
- Receiver (Model: FPVHTRX01)
- Servo Cable
- USB-C Charging Cable
- 3M Dual Lock Mounting Tape
- User Manual

3. Setup Instructions
To use the Syncpilot Head Tracker Set, you will need additional equipment including a gimbal, camera, video transmission system, and compatible FPV goggles.
3.1 Head Tracking Module Installation
- Attach the Head Tracking Module securely to your FPV goggles using the provided 3M Dual Lock mounting tape. Ensure it is positioned centrally and level for accurate tracking.
- Connect the Head Tracking Module to its power source (internal battery).
3.2 Receiver Power and Signal Connection
The head tracking receiver (FPVHTRX01) requires a 5V power supply. It can be powered through a direct connection to a UBEC, your RC receiver, or the flight controller. The servo cable connects the receiver to your gimbal's servo input.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Basic Operation
Once the Head Tracking Module is mounted on your FPV goggles and the receiver is correctly wired to your gimbal, power on your FPV system. The Syncpilot system will automatically establish a wireless 2.4G connection. As you move your head, the Head Tracking Module will detect these movements and transmit corresponding signals to the receiver, which in turn controls the gimbal to adjust the camera's view.
4.2 Adjusting Direction and Gain
If the gimbal moves in the opposite direction of your head movements, or if you wish to fine-tune the sensitivity (gain), you can use the dedicated head tracker software. This software allows you to adjust the direction and gain settings to match your preferred setup and ensure a natural, intuitive control experience.
5. Maintenance
- Charging: The Head Tracking Module has an independent 3.7V 300mAh battery. Charge it via the USB-C port using a 5VDC 1A power source. A full charge provides up to 2 hours of use.
- Cleaning: Keep the module and receiver clean and free from dust and debris. Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning.
- Storage: Store the Syncpilot Head Tracker Set in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures when not in use.
6. Troubleshooting
Gimbal moves in the opposite direction of my head.
Solution:
- Ensure the head tracking module is installed correctly on your FPV goggles, facing the correct orientation.
- Use the head tracker software to adjust the direction settings. You may need to reverse the axis direction for the gimbal's movement to match your head's movement.
- Check all cable connections between the receiver and the gimbal servo for proper polarity and secure fit.
