Setup

1. Charging the Helicopter Battery

  1. Locate the USB charging interface on the helicopter (refer to Figure 1).
  2. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the helicopter's charging port.
  3. Plug the other end of the USB cable into a standard USB power adapter (not included) or a computer USB port.
  4. The charging indicator light (if present) will show the charging status. A full charge takes approximately 30 minutes.
  5. Disconnect the cable once charging is complete.

2. Remote Control Battery Installation

The remote control requires batteries (not included). Open the battery compartment on the back of the remote control and insert the required batteries, ensuring correct polarity. Close the compartment securely.

Operating Instructions

1. Pairing the Helicopter and Remote Control

  1. Ensure both the helicopter and remote control are powered off.
  2. Place the helicopter on a flat, level surface.
  3. Turn on the helicopter's power switch.
  4. Turn on the remote control's power switch. The power indicator on the remote will light up.
  5. Move the throttle lever (left joystick) all the way up, then all the way down. The remote control and helicopter should now be paired.

2. Remote Control Functions (MODE2)

  • Throttle Lever (Left Joystick): Controls altitude (up/down). Push up to ascend, pull down to descend.
  • Direction Joystick (Right Joystick): Controls forward/backward and left/right movement. Push forward to fly forward, pull back to fly backward. Push left to fly left, push right to fly right.
  • Left Fine-tuning: Adjusts left/right drift. Use if the helicopter drifts without input.
  • Right Trim: Adjusts forward/backward drift. Use if the helicopter drifts without input.
  • Power Switch: Turns the remote control on/off.
  • Infrared Emitter: Transmits control signals to the helicopter. Ensure it's pointed towards the helicopter during operation.

3. Flight Operations

  • Take-off: Slowly push the throttle lever up. The helicopter will ascend.
  • Landing: Slowly pull the throttle lever down. The helicopter will descend gently.
  • Directional Control: Use the direction joystick for 360° flight, including forward, backward, left, and right movements. The helicopter also features an auto-forward function for simplified operation.
  • Cool Lighting: The helicopter is equipped with cool lighting features that activate during flight.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the helicopter and remote control. Do not use water or chemical cleaners.
  • Storage: When not in use, store the helicopter and remote control in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Battery Care: Fully charge the helicopter battery before long-term storage. Remove batteries from the remote control if it will not be used for an extended period.
  • Rotor Blades: Periodically check rotor blades for damage. Replace any damaged blades to ensure optimal flight performance and safety.

Troubleshooting

  • Helicopter does not respond:
    • Ensure both helicopter and remote control are powered on.
    • Check if the helicopter battery is charged.
    • Check if the remote control batteries are installed correctly and have sufficient power.
    • Re-pair the helicopter and remote control (see 'Pairing' section).
  • Helicopter drifts during flight:
    • Use the Left Fine-tuning and Right Trim buttons on the remote control to adjust for stable flight.
    • Ensure there are no strong air currents or winds affecting the flight path.
  • Short flight time:
    • Ensure the helicopter battery is fully charged before each flight.
    • Battery performance may decrease over time; consider replacing if flight time significantly reduces.
