The DEEPOWER H20 is a powerful off-road electric bike designed for adults, featuring a 2000W motor, 48V 25AH LG battery, and all-terrain fat tires. It offers a blend of performance, durability, and convenience with its foldable frame and advanced features.

3. Setup and First Use

3.1 Unpacking and Initial Assembly

Your DEEPOWER H20 Electric Bike comes partially assembled. Carefully remove all packaging materials. You will need to attach the front wheel, handlebars, pedals, and seat post. Refer to the included tool kit for necessary tools.

3.2 Battery Installation and Charging

The H20 features a removable 48V 25AH LG Lithium Battery. Before your first ride, fully charge the battery.

  1. Locate the battery compartment, typically integrated into the frame.
  2. Insert the battery securely until it clicks into place.
  3. Connect the charger to the bike's charging port, then plug it into a standard wall outlet.
  4. The charging time is approximately 5-7 hours. Do not overcharge.
  5. Ensure the battery is locked in place before riding to prevent accidental dislodgement.

3.3 Pre-Ride Checks

  • Tires: Check tire pressure. The 20-inch 4.0 all-terrain fat tires are designed for various surfaces.
  • Brakes: Test both front and rear hydraulic brakes for proper function.
  • Handlebars & Seat: Ensure handlebars and seat are adjusted to a comfortable height and are securely tightened.
  • Lights: Verify that the LED headlights and taillights are working.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Powering On/Off and Display

To power on the bike, press and hold the power button on the intelligent control instrument. The high-definition LCD display will show speed, mileage, gear level, and battery status.

4.2 Riding Modes

The DEEPOWER H20 offers various auxiliary functions to enhance your ride:

  • Manpower Model: Intelligent power supply system shutdown. This is traditional cycling without electric assistance.
  • Help Model (Pedal Assist System - PAS): Provides 0-50% power output, assisting your pedaling effort.
  • Pure Electric Model: Provides 0-99% power output, allowing you to ride using only the motor, without pedaling.

4.3 Gear Shifting

The bike is equipped with a SHIMANO 7-speed shifter. Use the finger paddles on the handlebars to change gears, improving efficiency and increasing mileage.

4.4 Braking System

The DEEPOWER H20 features hydraulic disc brakes for superior stopping power and control. Apply both front and rear brakes smoothly for effective deceleration.

4.5 Lighting

The bike is equipped with high-brightness LED headlights and a taillight for improved visibility. The headlight uses LED beads with a light range of up to 20 meters. The taillight ensures you are visible to other road users.

4.6 Speed Limit Release

The initial speed of the electric bicycle is set to 25 KM/H to comply with regulations. If you need to increase it to 50 KM/H or above, please contact customer support for the speed limit release tutorial. Be aware of local laws regarding maximum speed for electric bikes.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Battery Care

  • Charge the battery regularly, even if not in use, to maintain its lifespan.
  • Avoid fully discharging the battery.
  • Store the battery in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Use only the original charger provided with the bike.

5.2 Tire Maintenance

The 20-inch 4.0 all-terrain fat tires are designed for durability and grip. Regularly check tire pressure and inspect for any punctures or damage. The tires feature a multi-layer construction for anti-puncture performance.

5.3 Brake System Maintenance

Periodically check the hydraulic brake fluid levels and the condition of the brake pads. If you notice reduced braking performance or unusual noises, have the brakes inspected by a qualified technician.

5.4 Suspension System

The H20 features a center shock absorber and double shock absorbers for a comfortable ride. Keep the suspension components clean and free of debris. Lubricate moving parts as recommended by a bike technician.

5.5 General Cleaning

Clean your e-bike regularly with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Avoid using high-pressure washers directly on electrical components. Dry thoroughly after cleaning.

  • Bike not powering on: Ensure the battery is fully charged and correctly installed. Check all cable connections.
  • Motor not engaging: Verify that the riding mode is set correctly (e.g., Help or Pure Electric) and that the battery has sufficient charge.
  • Braking issues: Check brake levers for proper tension and ensure brake pads are not excessively worn.
  • Unusual noises: Inspect for loose components, chain issues, or debris in moving parts.
