Please note: The DEEPOWER V8 does not feature a 7-speed transmission.

- Fire Risk: Be aware of potential fire risks. Strictly follow the instruction manual for charging and storage of the battery.

4. Setup and First Use
4.1 Assembly
Your DEEPOWER V8 Electric Bike may require minor assembly upon arrival. Please follow any specific assembly instructions included in the packaging. Ensure all bolts and fasteners are securely tightened before riding.
4.2 Battery Installation and Charging
- Locate the battery compartment, typically integrated into the bike's frame.
- Insert the removable lithium battery securely into its compartment. Ensure it clicks into place and is locked with the provided key.
- Before first use, fully charge the battery. Connect the charger to the bike's charging port or directly to the battery if removed.
- Plug the charger into a standard wall outlet. The charging indicator on the charger will show the charging status.
- Charging time is approximately 5-6 hours for a full charge. Do not overcharge the battery.

5. Operation
5.1 Controls and Display
Familiarize yourself with the handlebar controls and the Smart Color LCD Display:

- Power Keyhole: Insert and turn the key to power on/off the bike.
- LCD Display: Shows current speed, battery level, selected gear, accumulated mileage, and PAS level. Includes a USB charging port.
- Throttle Lever: Used for electric mode acceleration.
- Brake Levers: Control the front and rear disc brakes.
- High/Low Beam: Controls the headlight.
- Trumpet: Horn button.
- Gear: Controls pedal assist levels or electric gears.
- Left/Right Turn Signal: For indicating turns.
5.2 Riding Modes
The DEEPOWER V8 offers multiple riding modes:
- BIKE MODE: Power off. Ride the bike like a traditional bicycle, using pedal power only.
- PAS MODE (Pedal Assist System): Power on. The motor provides assistance as you pedal. The level of assistance can be adjusted via the display/controls. No throttle input is needed.
- ELECTRIC MODE: Power on. The bike is propelled solely by the motor using the throttle lever, with no pedaling required.
5.3 Speed Limit
The initial speed of the DEEPOWER V8 Electric Bike is limited to 25 km/h (approximately 15.5 mph) to comply with certain regional regulations. The maximum unloaded speed capability is 50 km/h (approximately 31 mph).
Warning: Removing the speed limit may violate local laws and regulations and could void your warranty. Ensure you understand and comply with all applicable laws in your riding area before attempting to modify the speed settings.
Consult the specific instructions provided with your bike or contact customer support for guidance on how to adjust the speed settings, if legally permissible in your region.
6. Maintenance
6.1 Battery Care
- Charge the battery regularly, even if not in use, to maintain its lifespan.
- Avoid completely draining the battery before recharging.
- Store the battery in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- The battery features BMS Intelligent Protection and is IP54 waterproof, but avoid submerging it in water.
6.2 General Maintenance
- Tires: Regularly check tire pressure and for any signs of wear or damage. The V8 uses 20"x4.0 all-terrain fat tires.
- Brakes: Inspect disc brakes for proper function and wear on brake pads. Ensure brake levers are responsive.
- Frame: Keep the iron-carbon alloy frame clean and free of dirt and debris.
- Fasteners: Periodically check all bolts, nuts, and quick releases to ensure they are tight.
- Cleaning: Use a damp cloth to clean the bike. Avoid high-pressure washing directly on electrical components.

7. Troubleshooting
